What a find! Super friendly pub with the best pies Ive ever eaten, quality, fresh food and really great local beers too. Came here on recommendation and wasn't disappointed. It was great that its dog friendly too with treats for them. Not sure why there are negative reviews on here recently as our e
We stopped here for some dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely and affordable it was. Dogs were welcome and greeted. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and inexpensive. Shame we aren't local as we would definitely be returning.
Stopped for a lunch and drink during the beer festival. Live music was great. Very dog friendly. Crispy beef was lovely but unfortunately mac n cheese balls were still cold in the middle but once we raised it we received a brand new and BOILING portion, which is fine. Haven't got around to the pie a
A warm welcome on arrival, great choice of beers and nothing seemed to much trouble for the barman. As it was quiz night it got busy as we finished our meal. Great starter (which also can be chosen with 2 others to make a main.) Pies are your choice with a range of mash. We both had something differ
Wasn't really planning to go here but stopped in on the way home mainly as the pie only concept was interesting. We are so glad we did. Really nice village pub which is very well decorated and nicely kept. The staff were very friendly from the moment we walked in helping choose which beers we should
We only had a pint but couldn't have been made more welcome. Lovely stop.
Fantastic place very welcoming particularly to our dog! Barman was super lovely and the food was the best we've had in ages. Definitely would come again next time we are on holiday in the area
Visited this pub a few times during our stay in swafield as it was our closest pub and ate there twice. Welcome and service were excellent. Nice selection of beers and largers and I did take a liking to the Bateman's gold. Food was very good the 1st night we ate but didn't quite hit the spot on the
Visiting last night with my parents and dog, we had a lovely meal. The pub is set in the middle of beautiful Trunch village, the staff were friendly and helpful, very polite and welcoming. The food is great value for money and arrived promptly it was fresh and well presented. We enjoyed our meals an
What a great pub, really friendly staff with a nice relaxed atmosphere and child friendly. A nice selection of beer (mostly Batemans with a guest) the pint I had was very nice. The food looks great, reasonably priced (we didn't eat on this occasion). Its definatly a pub that I would make an effort t
We had a fantastic lunch here last week whilst on holiday in the area, Pie choice was the reason we tried it and it didn’t disappoint - Mac and cheese in a pie shouldn’t work but it does - keep up the good work 👍
Called in on the off chance and was intrigued at the menu. pie and mash not your normal pies but all home made. With a choice of different mash and sides. Very good..
A worthy sidetrip from any North Norfolk visit. Great little pub with top notch homemade sausage rolls, sunny outdoor seating. .
Absolutely delicious food and lovely staff, definitely worth a visit
Popped in on the off chance whilst on holiday. Lovely little pub. Dog friendly, and great food. We would definitely recommend this place.
Lovely little pub. Lovely staff and couldn't do more to help (I couldn't find our campsite). Great selection of drinks too!
