Very friendly small coffee shop with some lovely homemade cakes and sausage rolls! 😋
Was very full when we visited so very little room to access the counter round the chairs. But everyone was happy to make room.
Visited with our young dog. Sat outside but could have sat inside. Blankets available to sit with if required. Lovely,friendly staff who serve nice,fresh food at a reasonable price.
Wonderful coffee shop- great coffee and cakes, very welcoming to the 5 of us and 3 dogs coming in out of the rain. Lovely staff lovely patrons (and special mention for the amazingly clean and fresh bathroom). Thank you
I've found my favourite local coffee spot. Great coffee in delighful shop with very welcoming staff. Look forward to visiting again.
Went in last week with my young family, 1 of us is Dairy Free (dietary choice) & another Dairy & Nut free (Anaphylaxis), I spoke with Julie about the dietary requirements and she was very knowledgable on the subject which really put my mind at ease. Julie was so friendly and helpful we got talking for a while & I highly recommended The Swallows for any visitor but especially those with dietary restrictions, a real treat!
Dropped in today for a light lunch. Made to feel very welcome. Soup was delicious, and the pot of tea for two was very generous. Lovely local people who kindly engaged in conversation with us. Highly recommend and hope to visit again soon .

We sat outside, had a lovely meal, staff lovely. We were the only people sitting outside, but we went in to order and atmosphere seemed pleasant.
Its possible, on a nice day to sit on the terrace for tea, coffee, light snacks etc I had a lovely toasted tea cake, a pot of tea, so large I couldn't finish it. If weather is not so cheery there is comfortable seating inside. Mikex PS also Dog Friendly x
Stopped by for tea and cake. The lemon drizzle was excellent with a cuppa. They've made a nice external seating are, canopies and glass wind protecting screen. Also a takeout window too. Very nice.
