Really great place!
The food has always been amazing, the price is reasonable, the atmosphere is great.
We have been for dinnet and also enjoyed one of their themed nights.
The puctures are from a Frank Sinatra night which was wonderful and would definitely recommend.
We had a big family dinner for 12 here and really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant was a little too warm on a summer evening but the company was good, the service friendly and the venue comfortable. Parking is very limited around the rear, so get yourself a taxi. A highlight was the superb Yorkshir
There are three things that get my attention
1. Cheerful friendly and helpful staff
2. Prompt service and fresh hot food
3. Hot/warm plates as appropriate
In all cases the team at 22 get full marks. As a trio who 'dropped in' looking for a good lunch we were not disappointed.

Great place to eat, food is great and cooked throughout. Had a great experience here with my friends, minus one female staff who wasnt very nice when we had abit of a disagreement with bill, came across very rude. Other than that it was fantastic!

Fiest time I had visited. Great service and my pizza was the best I have ever had. Nit being a big eater I only managed half. I wS offered to take the rest home. The boxed it up and my son enjoyed it for his tea the next day. I will definitely be returning.
22 The Square is outstanding. The people, food and service are amazing. 100% recommend for lunch or dinner. Their Sunday lunch knocks it clear out of the park..😋
Fillet Steaks for three, the best we have ever experienced in a restaurant. And we have eaten many during our combined ages over 230 years!

Had a nice family meal here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food came quickly and was nice. Price is reasonable. Good choice of draught beers. Music could have been better. Would eat here again.
The quality of food here is consistently good. My friend and I had a lovely meal, she had pizza from the specials menu and I had pappardelle verdi, which were both equally delicious!

Wonderful staff - helpful, attentive and courteous. Delicious food including vegan options - the tahini pizza was gorgeous. Will definitely go again.
The starters are amazing especially the brisket bites... I had a calzone and it was delicious. Great service too!!

I've been before, luckily, because if this had been my first visit I would not be going back for a 2nd visit. We were a booking of 14, and all 14 of us were disappointed.
