As garden centres go this place is an emporium of rather costly luxuries. The cafe, situated at the rear of the site so you have to go through all the temptations in order to get a cuppa, is well worth it. From a very tasty soup, a great cheese & pickle sandwich to a delicious cheesecake. Well worth a visit.

We visited at 10.30am on a weekday for breakfast which was a vegetarian breakfast and French toast and lemon curd. Both meals were excellent and we will be returning for food again soon. We also looked around the shop and bought several items which we hadn't planned to. It's a well stocked garden centre shop with plenty of choice. Parking is plentiful at the front of the store.

Always had nice snacks whenever we visit, clean, friendly and spacious. However, visiting today we ordered a Spice Latte to drink and was surprised and shocked when the assistant serving us crushed the biscuits with bare hands over the cream on our drinks. Needless to say it was scraped off when we got to our seats, it would have been better to have to biscuit on the side to crush ourselves. It hasn't put us off, we will stick to tea.

Good choice of plants and flowers better than the supermarkets this year especially bedding plants. A little bit pricey but that's to be expected at a garden centre. Lovely air conditioned cafe with a nice outdoor seating area too if you'd rather sit in the sun. Worth a visit for a couple of hours .

A good visit today . Just north of Northallerton on the A167 .A good size garden centre and decent customer car park .Signposted off the main road you are immediately in the car park . There are at least 10 disabled parking bays next to the building . After unloading It was an easy task to find the entrance .Its a decent size and well laid out .We followed the floor path and ended up in the Strikes cafe!! The quality of the food was brilliant. I actually forgot I was in a garden centre!!! I was able to fit my chair under any of the tables due to their style. There are customer toilets and baby changers in both the ladies and gents ,and not in the disabled one (yahoo).Assistance is needed to pull the door as it comes towards you . I was unable to turn inside the room as there were heaters and bins preventing me .Apart from that a great day out

A lovely garden centre shame about no dog policy in cafe. You have to sit outside if you you want a coffee and sometimes that is not possible with the weather. If other garden centres can allow dogs why not here. I'm sure they are missing out as customers will go elsewhere.

Visited on hotest day of the month in June. Surprised by amount of items and offers. Not really into gardening, but other half spent a packet. In store food area has been updated and looks good, not sure about the cost for some products. Will visit again as we need another load. Have a look you be surprised what you may buy without realising you needed it.

Really nice products and a huge range to look around. The only issue is that the prices are a lot higher than similar things elsewhere? The restraunt is nice and the food and bakery items are top notch, and ots noticed that the staff work hard .

Great garden centre, has a large cafe with a good menu. Inside there is a good clothing section, greetings cards, stationery and toys including jigsaws. There is also a huge range of ornaments, scented candles/diffusers aswell as all the garden furniture. Outside is a huge range of plants, trees and shrubs aswell as a covered area with pots, planters, fencing and paving. Can while away a few hours nicely.
