There's a huge menu here. I'd say it's not the cheapest, but the quality is decent. The garden is paved, no grass, but is a reasonable size and all you really need for some fresh air on the warmer days. Decent amount of seating inside and a good selection of drinks are available. Staff are always friendly.

I love this pub! Mainly go for Sunday roast but the staff are so welcoming and the good is great. Can’t be faulted.

We been staying close by for last 8 nights. Just a 2 min walk here. Friendly staff, really good pub food and great atmosphere. Quiz night, and live bands. If staying staying nearby you can't go wrong. Trust me it was absolutely tickety boo!

They do a lovely carvery on Sunday, 3 meats to choose from and lots of veg, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and more to put on your plate. The staff are all really nice too

Great little pub, very friendly punters abd staff, good choice of food and drinks. Love the quiz on an alternate Saturdays. Some parking, although not loads, but plenty of on-road parking nearby. They always have plenty of events. If I lived nearer, this would 100% be my local.

Everything about this place is a classic British pub, from the beer garden and friendly service, to the pool table and dark wooden interior. Recommended!

Best carvery I’ve ever had.

Staff really nice and friendly. Great band so had a bop! The Sunday roast looked amazing but we'd already eaten. Shame. A couple of the local males tried to chat us up which was boring (come on, this is the 21st century - just because we're 2 women does NOT mean we're fair game. Grow up). Especially as I was more interested in the cricket on the telly and the band! All in all a great atmosphere bar the above incident.

Nice atmosphere, great quiz night! Loved the food. Well presented and really generous portions. Only downside was parking v popularity of pub.

Really nice, lovely atmosphere and oh god the value for money. we ordered a Sharing platter for 2 thinking it would be a good starter and we were stuffed half way through we got so much food. That sharing platter could feed 4. We left with tomorrow's lunch for the price of a normal burger.

Friendly traditional pub with a modern twist, offering all sports viewing on plenty of screens. Beer selection is great with lagers and hand pumped ales. I didn't have food, but it looked great. Oh and the super efficient and very attentive barman (Josh?) knew hot to pour a pint of Guinness properly. It is a great old pub and I would recommend a visit if in the locality, or make a trip as you will not be disappointed. Excellent service, value and quality.

Fantastic traditional pub. Clean and well presented with friendly and attentive staff. We took advantage of the 2 for £14 lunch offer and the food was superb. Arrived quickly, well cooked and generous portions. Will definitely come back.

Lucky to be a local to this lovely little pub. Food: Very affordable and good size portions, lovely bit of pub grub!! Sunday’s are for the carvery - again very affordable and very tasty!!! Ye old leather bottle also offers 2 meals for £14 too on a selected part of the menu which is great value for money! Drinks: Standard pub prices however offer happy hour Tues/Thurs/Fri between 5-6pm 🤩. Also a massive gin selection to choose from! Pub in general: Very clean. Offer different events to accommodate everyone (show football games, quiz nights, karaoke). Very friendly staff as a whole, happy and chatty! Just a mention for Cassie, very attentive, chatty and friendly - doing a great job! All the staff as a whole are great. Since reopening they have really adapted to all the safety measures and implemented everything very well. Plenty of hand sanitizers available too and they have also completely refurbished the outside garden area (which is lovely, clean and well laid out) well done guys - you’ve really done yourself proud!! Lovely place to visit regardless is your a local or not!

I was a bit worried that there would be nothing vegan on the menu (or that someone would tell me a dish was vegan when it wasn't!), but there were vegan side-dishes and I was about to settle for a couple of those when I was offered felafel burgers. They were delicious, as were the sweet potato fries and, indeed, all the non-vegan food. Proper ham, not reformed stuff. Great food and fantastic service, thank you ���

We love coming here. .janine and her staff make you very welcome. .foods great value for money ..puddings r to die for .. Sunday carverys are fantastic. Just a genuine pub with a great atmosphere. .we are now regulars ..highly recommend

Been a few times and always had a good experience but was really disappointed with my food yesterday had the hunters chicken which I've had before but it was really dry and the cheese didn't look very nice and bacon was cold I also found the drinks over priced to pints of lemonade for £7.10

Was having a new kitchen fitted , so had to eat out a lot , had to be leather bottle , staff are really friendly , food is lovely , get plenty of it and such a good price , not been able to try any of the deserts , never have any room left lol

Lovely pub with nice atmosphere. Friendly staff, Food is great, very reasonable priced, always plenty of it too. Good selection to choose from. Free wifi (if needed). Well worth a visit. I will definitely be returning.

Went today on Easter Monday absolutely lovely Carvery excellent value for money 8 of us went and we all loved it ... as well and the Chocolate fudge cake yum yum ..will definitely go back time and time again

We often go to Ye old leather Bottle, Love it, Pleased and Happy to see the staff and of course the Chef back. I love the way he does his mixed carrot etc vegetables, Secret recipe he told me yesterday...and he is not telling .:) The carvery meats and everything was delicious . Plenty of it. Nice atmosphere. Hopefully go again next week and also during the week nights as often as possible Varied menu. Very satisfied and would recommend.

Had lovely meal for my friends birthday. Large portions friendly staff. Can’t wait to go again
