Frisch's Big Boy

This is a classic that never disappoints, but this particular time was a time to remember! My son wanted to have lunch here for his birthday so it was just me and 2 sons, which isn't an easy task. Our waitress, Alexis N was amazing! We ordered chili but asked her to try to avoid the beans and she did. My youngest son spilled his apple juice all over the floor and she cleaned it, and then my oldest son wanted a sundae for his birthday and Alexis made 2 separate cups for both my kids! She was super helpful, attentive, and very sweet! I called the manager over so I could compliment how good of a waitress she is. The manager told me that she is working 2 jobs and going to school full time! We need more people like her in this world! Thank you for a wonderful restaurant experience!

Have always loved Big Boy and always will. Unfortunately with the lack of help you'll need to check to see if they are open. Food is still good and the wait staff is friendly and helpful. Gotta love that Big Boy burger! Oh, and if you are from Michigan we make our Big Boys differently then you do, so don't yell that its not right, just remember, you're not in Michigan.

Arrived at this establishment at 8:59 p.m. on a Sunday. Signs on the door, and postings online say it's open til 10p.m. We pulled into the parking lot and saw 3 employees just hanging out outside in the back of the building talking. We unloaded the members of our party from our van, and proceeded to walk inside, all while being watched by the employees outside just talking to eachother, doors were all unlocked, we walk in and wait to be attended to, we wait for 6 minutes, being completely ignored by the one person in sight in the kitchen, then we just left. We were on the property for around 18 minutes in total. Completely unacceptable experience. Especially when all the employees neglected us. They waited til we walked out and got in our vehicle, and came and locked the doors at around 9:10.

Growing up I used to have family trips up to Saginaw mi. We always stopped at big boy and I enjoyed the food. I have since grown and as did my taste buds. The food tasted poor and felt it was straight out of a bag.. burgers tasted dry.i understand using frozen food to cut costs but I just think you could find a way to improve the taste.

very sad that you are never open. How many people does it take to do drive thru only if you cant fully staff. Lots of places are surviving by doing this. I love your food but I see a closing in your future. If you cant pay at least 4 people enough to keep your drive thru open at the least, Maybe its time to question management or ownership if you want your business to survive. Pandemic is no longer an excuse.
