My friend is coeliac so finding a place that does a completely gluten free menu and risk free of contamination is very rare. The food is lovely, extremely tasty and the staff are so lovely and helpful. The atmosphere is lively and happy. Highly recommend!
We ordered pork and beef Korean blue taco and it was 10/10. The meat inside was so nicely marinated and juicy! Their kimchi was so good as well close to as authentic as possible! And their cocktails were so good as well. The only let down was the Singaporean fried rice, wished it was more seasoned. The restaurant is ver reasonably priced for what you get. Cant beat that! Plus the restaurant was very cozy and well decorated, but there was not much seating so I would recommend anyone going in for dinner to have reservation. Overall the restaurant is 10/10! I will definitely be coming back for it again!
Had a lovely meal tonight, first time we have been and will be back. Being gluten and dairy free is so hard when eating out so to be able to eat everything was great. It’s all tasted great as well. Staff were lovely and worked very hard.
Had a fantastic meal with two friends here. Booking is essential as not a huge amount of space for how popular it is. Recommended tapas is around 2-3 plates per person. We went for 3 each as the menu was amazing and the specials sounded great. We were not disappointed. Everything was superb. Can't wait to go back and try more.
Yet another great visit to Blue Joanna! This restaurant has quickly become one of my absolute favourite restaurants in Norfolk.
Atmosphere is spot on, really unique vibe which the place pulls off well; the staff are always friendly, helpful, explain how the menu works, and nothing is too much trouble.
The menu choices are fantastic; really wide ranging choices that cater for pretty much anyone without being overwhelming. True mix of cuisines that they deliver with great taste and flavour. Everything is fresh, which you can see being cooked from the open kitchen. I’d recommend getting 4 dishes between 2 people, this always seems to work well for the portion sizes. Is truly some of the best tasting food I’ve had - with some real creativity.
Still cannot get over the prices in this place - for what is some of the nicest food I’ve had, the prices sit below that of high street chain food easily.
What a place! The food is absolutely incredible, and most importantly, so are the staff and the atmosphere of this place! Such a lovely experience to eat here, would highly recommend!

This is our favourite place to eat out in Norwich. The food has been consistently amazing, we love the busy atmosphere andthe amount of vegan options is great.
Absolutely lovely spot ! We had a few friends come up for the weekend and booked a table - the staff were super friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing - everything tasted delicious and full of flavour and as a vegan I was over the moon to have so many options ! The atmosphere is cozy and friendly and we felt looked after and treated ! An absolute must if you want a good evening of food , cocktails and great vibes ! We will deffo be back :-)
This place is awesome! The prices are reasonable, the portions are sizable and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is incredible, this was easily the highlight of my trip to Norwich. It’s a must-eat if you’re in town for any length of time. It’s a great option to get tapas and share with your group, or to get them just for you - and you’ll definitely be full at the end!
Blue Joanna is always a favourite place to eat out in Norwich. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, perfect for sharing with a group. The service is warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect. Lively and cosy with great music.

Had the best pre birthday meal here. They catered to my allergy and made sure everything I ordered was safe to eat. They sang happy birthday to me and even gave me a free dessert which was very tasty. All the food was amazing, especially the tacos and the smacked cucumber.
One of the best places to eat in Norwich! The food is delicious, the service is great and the atmosphere is so cosy and intimate yet lively! Would really recommend!

Food was very nice, five stars. We were a large group across two tables. The place was really, really busy however, wait on food wasn't too long. Music was loud and later had someone singing live. Personally I wasn't bothered but my husband didn't like it, he felt it was too loud and busy. It was on a Saturday evening. There is only one toliet, which of course after lots of use over the evening by everyone caused queues and a wet floor. We would return but on a week day evening, when it would be more of a restaurant setting.
I promise you that you will not be disappointed if you come here for food or even just a drink.
The chef, owner, bar staff, waitress and waiters were lovely! We had a warm welcome as we walked in! I couldn't get a table as they were fully booked however Ecki saved us a spot at the bar for us.
He welcomed me by name from my booking, went through the menu and talked us through the specials.
The food was all perfectly cooked and the flavours were sensational. We had ribs, prawns, belly pork, pork tacos and fresh greens. I'd say my favourites were the greens and tacos. But I couldn't fault anything we had!
