The most wonderful evening - food is gorgeous and the service really fabulous the atmosphere is great and the music was really cool too. Love this place and would come back in a heart beat

Turned up there by taxi and at first wasn’t sure if it was where we were going or not. Didn’t see a sign. Saw the pub opposite we got in a muddle thinking was that it as we’d not been to either before. But it was a pub so guessed that was the place on the corner with the lights on. Also it’s In a residential street so maybe there’s parking for those of you who drive if you’re wondering (but dont drive btw the cocktails are lovely and there’s a pub opposite 🍻) In all honesty it being Valentines night you never know what you’ll get as it’s a busy time for restaurants but I have to say other than an absurdly noisy table that turned up (thankfully) near the end of our meal and completely took over the atmosphere (kids up and down, the adults had no respect for the others in the room having their romantic nights out) the night was absolutely incredible 🥂. Great service, great cocktails, food was much better than expected (being honest guys the menu looks basic and sometimes didn’t understand the things on the menu) so when confronted with “smacked cucumber” you have to ask questions. I’ll say it again, the food was truly excellent. Every dish was delicious and not overdone in anyway, and also every one was better than expected. the fried chicken which could have seemed basic was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, crunchy yet moist and every dish had great accompaniments to them too whether the sauce or pickle, the subtle hints of excellence on every plate, all was amazing. And after all this praise you may wonder was it expensive. Well costs have gone up everywhere for everything. It’s hard to say anything these days is good value for money but considering we drank 4 cocktails and a bottle of wine with the food for less than £100 plus we added 12.5% for well deserved tip for the service I’d say the meal was almost cheaper than it could have been and incredible value for money. Thanks for a great night chef and staff alike and for those wondering… the Fat Cat pub opposite was a great end to the night too. What a combo Cheers

We were fortunately accommodated as a late walk-in on a Friday night, and were so lucky the kitchen stayed open for us, because every dish we ordered was superb. The staff were welcoming and friendly - we ordered by their recommendations and were not disappointed! We sat outside and there was a comfortable, warm atmosphere, can't fault the service and we had a lovely evening.

My favourite place, hands down. All boxes ticked. Otherworldly deliciousness combined with immense value. May I die here.

Small plates for sharing with punchy flavours. Truly excellent service. Good wine selection, I would definitely recommend this place. Good vegetarian options.
