This was our second visit and we absolutely loved it. The room was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. The food is outstanding and the staff are very attentive. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub. Great food: fish fingers superb! Good selection of beers etc. Several areas, one large fireplace in between 2 rooms. Can accommodate wheelchair users. Staff friendly, attentive, helpful.

Excellent menu and perfectly presented food, but partly poorly cooked. Long cooked belly pork was tough. Maybe a one off.

Our first stay here, we received a very warm welcome, rooms are perfect and clean was also very quiet.
Proper traditional bar area with a great choice of beers, and a real fire, restaurant area has lovely decor and the food was extremely good as was the breakfast.
Excellent service from all staff during our stay,Will defiantly be back highly recommended

We had a Wake here after the recent funeral of my Mum, 87.
Amazing service and food. So well presented and delicious, all served in our private function room. I can’t thank you enough. Highly recommended.

Very cosy place with a wood burner and wooden beams. Good real was served by pleasant staff. I would recommend for a drink and to try the food on a menu with a variety of dishes.

This is a fantastic pub, Cosy 17th century gem in a local village. Was here for 2 nights from NYE with the family and I wish i could of stayed longer. The friendly staff got us a table for NYE in the bar area and we had a great evening.The room was spacious and had the most comfortable King sized bed.This place is definitely worth a visit and stay, they also do a great Fried breakfast.
