04.10.2022 My first time here. Popped in later afternoon for a coffee with a friend. Had the restaurant to ourselves. Staff were very friendly and chatty. Still working (cleaning, making pasta, admin) although it was empty.
Would return for a meal. They are online and available for collection.
Great service, pleasant ambiance, tasty food.
Five of us had a drink, main course and dessert at a cost of about £22 a head.
Service was efficient and friendly. Each dish had great flavours.

Very enjoyable meal. Late booking but seemed to be plenty of room which was surprising for a Friday night. I have been to Al Dente numerous times and always love it! Arguably best pasta in Norwich :-) Its a cosy restaurant with changing specials and we even had 2 for £11 cocktails. Friendly staff, best pasta, great atmosphere!

We both had 3 courses and drinks each, which came to under £50 and the food was especially good. The restaurant has a much nicer atmosphere inside than we'd anticipated and the service was just right. Top marks

Fantastic pasta. Enjoyed a delicious dish with fresh, 'al dente' tagliatelle pasta, crab meat, tomatoes, chillies and samphire, perfectly cooked and with great flavours! Friendly team and welcoming environment.
I have now visited Al Dente twice with my partner. It is fast becoming our favourite place to eat.
The staff are very helpful, offering advice on dishes and specials upon being seated. The place has a lovely atmosphere and is really what I consider a hidden gem (it is to me, I had no idea about it)

We popped in on the if chance of a seat and I'm so glad we did. Amazing service from start to finish, the food was dealt good, my girlfriend commenting it was the best pizza she has had, the pasta was amazing too. We're so glad we chose here as it was such a great surprise. Highly recommended!
Fantastic food and lovely staff. The antipasti board for 2 was beaut, and our carbonaras with pancetta and garlic mushrooms were perfect. We can't wait to take our families there the next time they visit Norwich.
