Loved it . Local to my daughters house so handy to pop in when visiting her. Plants are of very good quality. Garden ornaments and gift shop as well as a café. The food was excellent. Staff in both the shop and café were very polite.

The best garden centre I have been to, very friendly and knowledge staff sorted me out with alot of hedging this weekend. Pricing for fertiliser and garden accessories significantly cheaper than all the big diy stores. Thank you Martin.

This is the first time we have been to the foundry, our experience was lovely, the stock in the garden centre was very reasonably priced. The cafe was lovely and clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming (to the fact 1 of the ladies was even having a chat with my 6 year old) The food was very tasty too, the breakfast was lovely fresh produce and was very tasty (to the point my 6 year old ate half of the sausage!) The apple juice which was in a glass bottle was very tasty and actually tasted of apples! Also was organic. My partner also said the scone was very nice. We will come back soon. Full marks to you all.

Great to find a garden centre that concentrates on selling good quality plants shrubs and trees at keen prices rather than the usual plastic non garden tat that you find in most so called 'garden centres' these days. (That not say that you wont find the odd oriental Santa in there at this time of year!). The café is excellent too, great food excellent service.

Absolutely stunning garden centre! Popped up on Facebook as a place to visit and headed there the next day. The cafe is wonderful with a great selection of food from breakfasts, light lunches and light bites. First class plants, first class service and first class food. Thank you!

Very busy at lunchtime which shows how popular the Foundry Cafe is. Three of us were on a small table but one of the staff kindly moved us when one became available before we ate. Mum and I had Mediterranean tart with chips and salad and my husband had steak and ale pie with chips. Good plateful, delicious and very reasonable. Excellent service and attention. Would definitely return.

Foundry Plant Centre was a wonderful place to visit. They had a big selection of all kinds of things. From plants and pots, to stationery and beautiful colour changing lights. We had a lovely lunch as well in their newly opened conservatory. There were lots of tables and chairs to sit at either inside or outside. There was also a dog seating area where we parked our car. There were parking spaces for the disabled along with disabled toilets and a wheelchair accessible entrance.

As always a great selection of plants and everything needed to go with them. Very competitively priced and lots of advice on hand if required. Great place and well worth a visit (even if just for coffee & cake!)

Very good selection of plants grown on site, a refreshing change from the usual 'destination' garden centres which seem more interested in selling overpriced tat. Good plants at fair prices, will use regularly as have just moved to the area

Am not sure plant centre is right as this is a beautiful garden of historic intrest will plant's at it centre and a great history. A lovely place to vist with in a short walk of the centre. So peaceful and quiet very hard to believe it is so close to the centre. Very well kept and maintained.

Great selection of plants and ancillaries, but the real star of the show is that cafe! Clean, friendly staff and top quality food which is excellent value for money. Glad we found this wee gem when we were looking for a breakfast, shame we live so far away, otherwise we would be here every week! Great selection of cakes too. Loved it. Plenty of parking and disabled access is not a problem. You may also get to meet the friendliest Robin in the world!

I didn't look round the outside, so based on my experience in the shop area and cafe, I was impressed with both. Lots of lovely garden ornaments, fixtures and fittings at reasonable prices, everything well laid out. The coffee shop had friendly staff serving a nice range of hot meals and sandwiches made to order, we enjoyed our paninis and the cakes were moist and yummy. Will definitely head back here for lunch at a future date.
