Great food and great service, went for a family Sunday roast dinner. Booking is a must as it’s not a huge pub but it’s very nice.

This pub is an extension of my lounge! I love it very much. The staff are amazing and very welcoming. The food is also out of this world. This is the pub I recommend to everyone I meet. If I could I would give it 10 stars

Amazing food! Best cooked steak ever. The chips are lush, hand cut and plentiful. Would highly recommend a visit for dinner. The lunch menu looks good too. We'll be back soon.

A sweet little pub near Norwich Uni Art Department. We went on a Saturday lunchtime and although it advertised food, there was no food available, which was disappointing. We went back 'early evening' for another drink and there was a really nice 'vibe' to the place. It was clear that there were several locals in and it had a nice friendly atmosphere. There was a good selection of beers and the service was friendly and relaxed. We parked in the multi storey car park a minutes walk away.

We've been here a few times in the last couple of months and the roast dinners never disappoint. Excellent tender roast beef, and super friendly staff. It's definitely our new favourite place for a Sunday roast.

Good pub, friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. Old world charm. Although we didn't eat, the Sunday roast looked excellent with big portion. 4 minutes from city centre.

Lovely old pub not far from the city centre. Very cozy and warm. Good atmosphere. Has original bar in place from when it was built. Suitable for young and old. (didn't try the food)

Really enjoyed the pop up by Bun Heritage a few weeks ago. Initially they gave me the wrong meat. Then a plate of beef arrived which I ate as well as the first meat. Flavours were great for everything. The pub itself go do with a bit of a lift perhaps but I had a nice real ale. Next to try the Bun X burgers at Micawbers. Keep up the good work.

Golden Star is an excellent traditional street corner pub. The front bar has nice wooden floors with an unspoiled interior. There was a good selection of hand pulled cask conditioned real ales all in excellent condition. The landlord was very friendly and is a nice welcoming pub. A real highlight of the pub is the traditional bar billiard table in the back Room. It was really nice to have a couple of games while sampling the excellent ales. I highly recommend this pub.

Really nice traditional pub. The starters / tapas were amazing. Would highly recommend for a laid back drink and food outside of the city centre. Will definitely be back.

Love this place, proper old school local. Not a huge selection of drinks, but changed regularly. Dogs welcome. 2 small bars. Bar billiards! Pretty little secret garden to the rear, and a small seating area out the front. Selection of board games and regular quizzes going on too.

They do a great small plates menu, ideal if you want a selection of things to try, food was excellent and good value for money, they are also dog friendly and have a great quiz on a Sunday evening.
