Went here for a big family birthday. There were 12 adults and 2 kids under 7 and the staff were great with us all. The service was good, the food took a bit of time but it was all cooked beautifully. The staff were very timely with taking orders and making sure we all had drinks, and they were also great with the young ones too.
The food and drinks were very nice and worth the price.
The venue itself was lovely.
The car park was quite busy and can struggle to find a parking spot.

Fab all round! We dropped in for a cup of tea during a very rainy and windy Friday afternoon. Decided to book a last minute room as the roads were terrible, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had our dog with us and Austin was able to find us a dog friendly room, with breakfast included, for a price much cheaper than any of the booking sites. Definitely book direct! The room was lovely and clean, had everything we needed for a last minute stay, and the location is ideal for exploring the Norwich lanes. Breakfast was delicious and generous, fab coffee and great service. 10/10 would stay again 👌

We had dinner at the Georgian Townhouse Restaurant during our stay in Norwich in the October half term. The staff were extremely attentive and pleasant and the food was delicious. We had the ham and chicken pie and the barbecue pork ribs. The portions were very generous - so much so, we could not squeeze a dessert! We would recommend their cocktails too.

Perfect location from which to explore Norwich.
Excellent service from the staff.
Able to leave the car in the car park for the entire duration!
Comfortable room, slightly smaller than the average hotel room, but with plenty of amenities such as tea and coffee making and mini-bar.
Recommend booking direct.... our breakfast was included in the price which was extremely competitive (cheaper!) than most of the hotel booking sites.

Great food with excellent service. Drinks are a bit pricey. Really nice garden with a great children's play area. Service is very good with plenty of staff on hand . Highly recommended

This was a gem of a find! Loved staying here for a business trip to Norwich, the room was great and the variety of additional extras really made it worth every penny!
The bar and restaurant area were lovely, and the garden was so welcoming in the late- summer evening. Breakfast was served very well as was the dinner, with a great range on the menu.

Went here with work for a meal. Good food and great atmosphere and food service was great. The drinks service however was a little slow but to be fair quite a lot of our party decided to try the cocktails so if could have been that. Would definitely go again and in fact we have booked Christmas meal there so here's hoping drinks service was a one off

We had our wedding here in June and it was the perfect venue for a small wedding (40 people). Holly and Natasha, the event managers, were really helpful with the wedding planning and with helping things run smoothly on the day. The garden was beautiful at this time of year and the food was delicious.
The rooms were reasonably priced and very spacious, and the breakfast included was delicious. The location made it easy for guests to travel there, and overall, I would really recommend this as a wedding venue to anyone having a small wedding.

Excellent venue. Great food. Great service. The only slight glitch, an oversight perhaps: *pre-booked* food, for our 17 person event, was not available in all cases! Just had to order alternatives, so not a huge problem, but it did make the bill difficult for the staff and us to sort out! Otherwise, the app was very useful. Overall: absolutely loved it!! Brilliant in all respects!! :)

We had a shared butchers platter that was excellent value for money and beautifully prepared. Staff were very busy but attentive and helpful at all times. The venue felt relaxed and had lovely gardens to explore. I particularly remember the homemade pate and sweet pickled onions.

A perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. Had drinks outside - huge garden - lovely atmosphere. We then moved inside to have dinner - an absolutely delicious meal.
The staff were on point and very friendly. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making our evening special.

Large family gatherings for 40th birthday. Quite cramped at table for meal for 20 people. Meals looked ok. Mine personally was very small portion. 2 small pieces of ham 2 eggs and a handful of chips for £10.75 the child's meals were larger. Very nice outdoor area so accommodated another 20 people that arrived after meal. But at 7pm the birthday person was asked to leave after he was jostling around with his 6 yr old son. Which caused a disagreement and they were then informed that a diner had complained about the kids. We had been there for 7 hrs and spent a large amount of money. The 15 + kids had been well behaved all day. My opinion is that they wanted us out as the evening clientele would be arriving. They took our money then wanted us gone.

Having never had a bad experience at the Georgian Townhouse, I booked the Pembroke Room for a table of 30 people. The staff were very accommodating throughout; from planning, meal choices to the evening itself with some latecomers and special dietary requirements. Even with a small misunderstanding, staff were flexible and immediately put it right. Great atmosphere in the beautifully decorated room, the whole group had a lovely evening. Thank you!

If you're considering a wedding venue in Norwich - The Georgian Townhouse is 5* treatment and such a stunning venue. The whole place, people and food was beautiful - all our guests loved the place and their rooms. Donna the Events Manager and Luke the Bar and Restaurant Manager are absolutely lovely. Conveniently a 5 minute walk from the Plantation Gardens - an excellent place for family and friends for photos too! Can't praise these guys enough - loved every moment!

Stayed at TGT this week when visiting my parents who live in Attleborough and had a wonderful stay. We were travelling with our 6 month old son and were a little worried about staying in a hotel but needn't have worried, the staff were so lovely and made us very welcome. Although room service isn't usually offered they very kindly agreed to accommodate us on the first night to save us taking little one out at what would usually have been his bedtime. The food was fabulous, I only wish we'd ordered a bit more actually, especially the chocolate brownie! Breakfast was probably one of the best offerings I've seen in a while, and I stay in hotels a lot; fresh pastries, fruit, cereals and fruit juices to start, then the choice of a hot breakfast too, all included in the room price and absolutely delicious. The hotel itself is gorgeous, very trendy/hipster, but definitely not style over function like some boutique hotels we've stayed in. The room is very comfortable, with some nice little touches. Loved the SMEG fridge and coffee machine! Travelling with a baby we had a LOT of stuff with us but there was plenty of room and space for putting things tidily out of the way. Despite being attached to a busy restaurant we didn't really experience any noise disruption. There is a lot of road noise but we're used to that. The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring the City, and has a very decently sized car park. All in all a fabulous venue and a lovely stay, we will definitely come again when we visit family in the future. Thank you!

Had a lovely meal sitting outside enjoying the sun, the only fault was a bit slow on service waited quite a while for our drinks apart from that lovely place lovely food.

We stayed at this wonderful pub this week. Accommodation was Amazing value for money so clean and welcoming.
Pub was beautifully decorated and friendly staff. Breakfast was
also top notch. We had an evening meal here too. Meat was cooked to perfection, the only grumble I would have is what the belly of pork was served with. It just didn’t go with the mash and meat. I understand quirkiness but just some nice seasoned veg would have gone down a treat rather that a cold spicy coleslaw. Will definitely be returning x

Such a quirky place in a great location that served a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend it!

Didn't eat here but the food that came out to others looked very good! This place has a great selection of beers and ciders. Lovely beer garden and friendly staff.

Absolutely fantastic venue for our wedding last Friday. From our very first meeting Donna gave us a feeling of confidence that money really can’t buy, and on the day her team made everything go without a hitch leaving us with nothing to worry about. Special mention to Dan who did an awesome job of taking care of us during the day and into the evening.
The food was absolutely amazing (a view echoed by our guests) and our room was superb. The roof terrace was a fantastic place for us both to relax with a well-needed coffee (from the Nespresso machine in the room) the morning after and talk about our day.
Thanks again to Donna and the team for an unforgettable day, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Shocked how bad the Sundays roasts were. Cold, thrown on plate, some overcooked, some raw. Poor quality ingredients. Getting table service was like getting blood from a stone.
Neil Morris
Lovely venue for a wedding the outside area is massive, just a little disappointed at portion size in the pub.

Had a 70th birthday party here Friday. Very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. Apologies to other diners for the noise and party poppers . My only criticism was the ham egg and chips - not much ham for the price. My pork was to die for though. We will be back.
Holly Marshall
We've just had such a gorgeous meal here-pork belly with kimchi service a litttttttle slow at times but who cares, we had time, it was a nice atmosphere and with food this good it doesn't matter. Great decor. Best meal I've had in an age. One minor thing-stop the buzzing in the conservatory. I think it's probably from a kitchen fan but v annoying. V minor tho.
