Delicious food, excellent service, and a really lovely vibe to the place. Offers an interesting range of menu options, often providing unusual/unique flavour combinations. The ones I've tried have worked well. Would definitely recommend.
If you want proper breakfast tailored for your taste this is a perfect place for that.Their menu works as a selection of breakfast items you order like pick and mix for your own tailored breakfast. Fantastic selection of healthy breads and also decent size vegetarean option for vegetareans. Was ment
This place looks so nice from the outside, they have fairy lights all up and it just looks inviting and welcoming. I got a vegetable platter which was vegan as well - fab! And it was massive literally a giant plate of food - great flavours and great spreads. I hadn't eaten food like this before and
Fantastic place! Plus it is beautiful and historic, which is always a good thing. The staff are lovely, the wine selection is top notch and the food and snacks are perfect. There's also a charming Tudor courtyard and really interesting decor - paintings, books etc. It's got that warm, cosy charm b
I have been there this afternoon. For me, there is a good selection of food. English cakes at the counter. The Menu board offers a choice of food with a few ideas from other countries. It is simple, the ingredients are good in blend, producing really nice flavours. The feeling in the place, (buil
Love this place. Have walked past many a time and been tempted, then finally took the plunge and am glad we did! Lovely, friendly and attentive service, fresh menu and prepared dishes, and attracts equally lovely clientele (definite buzz about the place). Was so good to see lone diners, couples and
Excellent Sunday lunch from The River Kitchen pop up. Very popular with the veggies and vegans in the group so worth checking out if you are of that persuasion. I had the beef which was lovely. Not too bad a price tag at £13.50, if you fancy a treat. The River Kitchen is a pop up though and I don't
Wonderful relaxed and cosy place, from breakfast in the morning to cocktails in the evening. Good food and a great selection of drinks. I just wish they'd take better care of their poor beautiful plants! Pop up roasts from The River Kitchen are not to be missed!!!
I found this place by accident. What a delight. It does delightful food and has a nice bar with smiley staff who can't do enough to help. The menu is interesting and the food is prepared and presented well. It has a good range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free food but also has a selection for mo
North generously enabled a bunch of us to hold an informal meeting in the bar. The hospitality was excellent and, staying on to eat after was the best move all day. Lovely, innovative, wholesome, real food at very fair prices. Thank you North.
Gatecrashed 'North' around twenty minutes before they officially opened today, and far from being asked to come back we were invited to sit in the warm and make up our minds what we'd like to eat! We definitely didn't wait twenty minutes and were soon sipping excellent coffee, and shortly thereafter
Spoilt for choices to eat in Norwich, but for honest food, well cooked with good service, you won't go wrong here. My hesitation to give 5 stars were the variety of menu and lack of dessert choices. Otherwise, very happy. Good date night venue too
Per-chanced upon this place today, and so pleased I did. Superb cakes, fabulous chilled vibe, great background music and most importantly the staff.... 1st class. Friendly & welcoming. Will be back at the weekend. 🙌
Delicious selection of heathy(ish) foods in a laid back cafe atmosphere. Wine, tea and excellent coffee are available as are some decadent cakes. Nice place to people watch or even play some boardgames. Toilets aren’t the best but the service is excellent.
Just spent a lovely relaxing few hours at a meet-up at North. A glorious morning, out in the courtyard, in the sunshine with great company. Definitely one of my new favourite places. A comfortable, peaceful place to meet and chat or sit and write.
I love North. Really friendly staff and a menu to please everyone. An adaptable space - great for catching up over coffee, meeting colleagues, or having a crafty pint. They also have a cracking courtyard.
I like the atmosphere here and the staff are always friendly. Food is good but would love it if they did more of a full breakfast range too. Nice to see a bar open on Magdalen Street.
This used to be the King of Hearts Café for years but the standards had really gone down hill. It's now a café with a slightly more modern and lively feel to it. I could not fault the staff who were very friendly and attentive, especially when I had to return my somewhat stale cake, not that it was
It has a cool vibe without being overly hipster and pretentious. The menu is not overly long and is varied in influences. The food is great. Good for both a daytime coffee or an evening meal.
