I love Sushi and have eaten in all the Japanese restaurants in Norwich. Although Matane has a very different vibe, cafe/take away, their Sushi in my opinion is the Best.
Some of the highest quality Japanese food I’ve ever had. The sushi I had was so delicious and fresh. The gyozas are steamed and the definitely the best I’ve had out of anywhere I’ve been.
The staff were patient, helpful and kind.

A frequent lunch spot of mine. Great sushi every time, you can see it being made freshly through out the day. Reasonably priced and a great spot to grab a light lunch to take away.
First order from this new sushi restaurant in Castle Meadow. Very impressed with quality and freshness of the sushi platter we ordered. It was made freshly for us as a takeaway and we had a delightful green tea whilst we waited.

Really yummy food and really friendly people! I popped in around 4.30-5 yesterday (Monday) and I was the only person eating in. There were a couple of other people who popped in for takeout while I was there and the staff were just as polite to them as they were to me. The food was absolutely delish

It has been a long time since we ve had sushis and we couldnt be any happier with our meal at Matane Sushi! Super nice and friendly staff we loved our food. Now the spicy miso soup (Shirachi) is the way to go! We will definitely be back for sure.
