Itd been a while since i visited The River Garden and it hasn't really changed. A nice pub with food, in a spectacular location.
The food is standard pub fare but the location is what you come for, great gardens down to the river
Staff were great, food was great, wineglass was not very clean.

A lovely setting beside the river. Plenty of seating in & out of shade. Food was good & we didn't wait long. Friendly staff. Dog friendly too.
Popped here on the off chance of some food. Well we weren't disappointed. Lovely lady at the bar, very helpful. Food, Sea Bass was so nice I can't stop thinking about it. Spent 5 days just down the road from this superb pub, food was great as was the service and hospitality from the very genuine and helpful staff.

First time visit to pub, excellent location right next to the River, large garden overlooking the River. Ideal for a party. The service was very good, pleasant and polite. Parking okay. Certainly can recommend this pub.

Never been before first time Monday. Great outdoors by river. Price for a pint average never had any food but what I saw looks great will be taking family there in the very near future.
The food wasn't the greatest. The pork loins that I had were quite overcooked and tough to eat. The desserts were nice.

Lovely evening at The Rivergarden. We ate outside in what I can only describe as a magical beer garden overlooking the river. A good pub menu offering a good chice and when our food came it was well presented and delicious. At about 8.00 the Paddle Boarders arrived up the river and created a lively
Enjoyed a very pleasant sunny evening in the garden beside the river. Dogs on leads welcome, water bowls available for the dogs. Very nice place with friendly staff.
Just stopped for drinks, but wish we had eaten as the menu looked great and food smelled delicious. Quaint building with a fabulous garden on the river. Friendly service.

The scampi was lovely with chips, peas, and salad.
Shame about the pie which the men had. The base was very hard on both pies! Took some cutting and eating but they did get eaten. Should have left them.

I fell in the river when canoeing and luckily was right by the Rivergarden. The staff were lovely in helping me get dry and even offered to tumble dry my wet clothes! I spent an unexpected hour in the pub watching the football and having a drink. Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff! Thanks
Had a lovely dinner and drink here - they even had some live folk players! Such an awesome pub by the river.
