Itd been a while since i visited The River Garden and it hasn't really changed. A nice pub with food, in a spectacular location.
The food is standard pub fare but the location is what you come for, great gardens down to the river
Staff were great, food was great, wineglass was not very clean.

A lovely setting beside the river. Plenty of seating in & out of shade. Food was good & we didn't wait long. Friendly staff. Dog friendly too.
Popped here on the off chance of some food. Well we weren't disappointed. Lovely lady at the bar, very helpful. Food, Sea Bass was so nice I can't stop thinking about it. Shame we were travelling, I would have happily stayed until last orders. My only regret.... I didn't have dessert, bloomin well will next time though. Thanks Rivergarden, we like you 10/10.
Spent 5 days just down the road from this superb pub, food was great as was the service and hospitality from the very genuine and helpful staff.

Sorry but the pub has gone downhill big style.
It's such a beautiful setting, right up to the river bank.
However, I really fancied a nice Sunday roast.
We sat down and immediately noticed the table wasn't particularly clean 😐, salt and pepper pots were grubby and looking around the rest of the place, it too needed a good clean.
Anyway, got our drinks and the menu, no roast!! It's a Sunday!!! Ended up with a children's scampi, not impressed.
As I said, such a prime location with the chance to be at the top of their game.

First time visit to pub, excellent location right next to the River, large garden overlooking the River. Ideal for a party. The service was very good, pleasant and polite. Parking okay. Certainly can recommend this pub.

Never been before first time Monday. Great outdoors by river. Price for a pint average never had any food but what I saw looks great will be taking family there in the very near future.
