IMO it is now by far the best chippy around. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the fish is well worth the wait with huge portions. Highly recommended.

Delicious fish and chip shop. I have 4 in my local area and I would happily go out of my way for this one. Chips are crispy and fluffy on the inside but just right. Sausage lovely and a bonus has sweet and sour sauce. Honestly cannot complain. And the price is great also. Don’t listen to the bad reviews they aren’t true at all!!!

I've never had fish, I've refused for years, just because "I didn't like it". Well I finally bit the bullet and tried Southwell. Lady behind the counter was very nice, and the food was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed my first ever Fish and Chips. Place will go down in history as the first place I tried it!

Best local chip shop. Prices are the best around and the fish tasted yummy. If you're looking for something quick and tasty, then this is the place for you. I come here very often with family and always get the battered sausage. The portions are insane and I get full without question (and I'm a fat dude)

Fantastic fish and chips. The cod batter was nice and crisp, and the cod itself was cooked perfectly. Chips were great too. Good portion size. Overall would highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic. After a hard day at work I realised that I didn't have any tea so swung by on the way home. Everything was beautifully cooked and I even got an upgrade on the fish. Thanks for a really tasty fish supper.

Great fish and chips, good price - always cooked to order so you have to wait a little while but well worth it. They dont use oil for cooking so theyre a bit different to most chippies these days.
