Don't be put off by the look of this place, it's a real gem. lovely fresh cooked food, the proprietor has built a great little community cafe here. Great range of food available, delicious food served with a very warm welcome.
Reasonable selection of well priced food. Really friendly staff and a fantastic support for the local community. A bit slow on service and felt like it needed a clean.

Dated but what makes it great... the owner makes everyone feel equal and welcome i could tell by the people in there, he didn't judge or refuse anyone. Peoples palace is such a poignant name

Often pop in for a nop-notch breakfast (£5.50 incl hot drink). Excellent veggi breakfast options too, plus loads of other Cafe staples. Proprietor very friendly lol.
