Moved back to this Area but pleased to discover that for quality and taste this remains a very good chip shop indeed! Definitely worth a look. Been going a while now, the chips can occasionally be a touch under cooked when very busy sad to say. That said if you ask for them to be a little well done

I had cod and chips with curry sauce, it was amazing however the curry sauce pot was rather small… the meal and a drink was £10.50 which I thought was slightly expensive but worth it.
I've just had white skin plaice and the best I've ever had... I like the fact you order your fish so it's not sitting there ect... batter very crispy and thin melts in your mouth....highly reccomend these guys....they are such a lovely friendly couple ...
Hopefully I it was just an off day as had a portion of chips and they did not live up to the reviews.
