Very friendly staff. Excellent food served quickly. Quiet at lunchtime during the week, not sure what it's like evenings and weekends. Will definitely be back!
Visited the place to have some beer, was very calm Sunday afternoon - I liked it - standard English pub - friendly staff. Didn't order any food so no comments but definitely will come back to try it.

The pub has recently changed hands and it shows. The place looks cleaner, friendlier and the food has definitely improved.. A great menu and specials board at a good price. I used to live on this road and for many years didn't go there as I was told it was rough however since going there I found it was basically just a little bit louder than I was used to possibly at times rowdy food has been consistently ok sometimes good more of a locals pub really
