Mouth watering food, tasty drinks, nice, warm, family friendly welcoming, newly decorated pub!
Seems like a great place. We went for the first time to watch a band play. Drinks were reasonably priced. Huge carpark. Out door area for smokers too. Friendly people. It's had a bad reputation in the past, but it certainly didn't feel bad to us The atmosphere was great. Definitely go again. It has a pool table too.
Very friendly staff. Excellent food served quickly. Quiet at lunchtime during the week, not sure what it's like evenings and weekends. Will definitely be back!

Visited the place to have some beer, was very calm Sunday afternoon - I liked it - standard English pub - friendly staff. Didn't order any food so no comments but definitely will come back to try it.
I found the service fantastic and welcoming. I've played there in my band. There was a great turn out and the landlord really looked after us. This is a great music venue
The pub has recently changed hands and it shows. The place looks cleaner, friendlier and the food has definitely improved.. A great menu and specials board at a good price. A lot more people than previously are eating here. Really friendly and helpful bar staff. The chefess cooks from scratch on some meals... Well worth a visit... Thanks

old boys night out. This is my local pub and has been in need of some TLC for a long time, so with the new management of Joe & Nicci in place I took a chance and called our old footballing mates for the annual gathering . Have to say it could not have been bettered and I have received many calls from the boys talking about the next bash . This is not a Gastro pub ,but the mixed grills ,steaks ,fish & chips were excellent .A good Real Ale was on ,and all drinks reasonably priced . Gigantic Cheeseboard and good coffee ,service by Dani made the evening a great success .The pub does a good very popular Carvery on Sunday and I'm sure will start to get a good following. I used to live on this road and for many years didn't go there as I was told it was rough however since going there I found it was basically just a little bit louder than I was used to possibly at times rowdy food has been consistently ok sometimes good more of a locals pub really
Great staff, friendly, well visit again, next time I'm up that way. Didn't try food, but how to next time.
Very clean very friendly pub plenty of seating has a pool table and a tv and a juke box enjoyed every minute great beer has seating outside good drop of Stella they also serve food has plenty of parking spaces will definitely go again A1😊😊😊
