What a terrific find on our way home from Norfolk. Very smart pub with recently added restaurant where we had a superb lunch. I had chorizo and mozzarella stuffed chicken with patatas bravas and so pleased with my choice. Lovely garden to the rear where many others were dining. The staff were lovely and friendly and a credit to the pub.
Amazing roast, lovely pub, great staff and a sweet pub dog. What more could you want?! Genuinely haven't found a better roast anywhere. Beef is to die for with all the trimmings, chef is fab and often comes to check everyone is happy!
We have been to the Railway Arms 3 times in the last few months and every time the food and service has been great. A good variety on the menu. This time I had the salmon with king prawn linguine which was excellent. Great pub, great atmosphere and great dining experience.
Excellent service and great food at very affordable prices, whether you want a "big lunch" or just a lighter snack. Very varied menu from salads and baguettes at around£8-£10, to a full 3-course lunch for around £24. Large portions though so beware of ordering hungry! Good coffee too.

Anne Marie and her staff were very friendly. The food was excellent and the atmosphere great. She gave us some advice on local spots to visit and her West Highland White roams about looking very cute. Would definitely recommend.
We found this little gem through Google Maps. Not only was the food amazing, the portions were big and the prices were very reasonable. It is a quiet little pub with great personality. A must try if you are in the area.
We had the most wonderful evening at the Railway Arms. They have extensive gluten free options. Fantastic house wine and draught beer. Warm atmosphere and the wait staff are faultless. The food was outstanding and the 5* service was a wonderful compliment to a perfect evening. We were even checked in on by the chef. Their beer garden looks super, and we can’t wait to visit in the summer afternoons. They also have the most Beautiful Pub Dog called Daisy and are dog friendly. 🦮🐕🦺

Whilst working in the area me and my colleague have eaten at the railway every week for over a year we have never been disappointed. If you are in the area and haven't been here you are missing out. Lovely, friendly pub as you remember. Pleasant and accommodating landlord and lady. Mea is amazing front of house, always friendly, customer service second to none, brilliant at what she does. And finally John's food is outstanding!!!! Best best weve eaten in the area at an outstanding price I don't know how he does it. We will both miss place, fingers crossed we will be working here again. All the best to the guys at the railway Arms, keep up the fantastic work!!!!
