I have a fondency for battered sausage and chips and thought I'd try Royalls for a change with a friend.
There is outside seating where you can wait for your order to be prepared, and the service was fast and friendly.
My sausage and chips was excellent, came in a sturdy box, and was very good value for money.
I shall be happy to return.

Got large sausage and chips with cheese for like less than a fiver and was enough to feed two people minimum 😂 actually tasted good as well unlike some chip shops. Most establishments definitely pay for good google ratings these days

A proper British chippy -that delivers!!!
We have used a handful of times and everytime the food has always been piping hot and faultless. However , the reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because their delivery via their own website is sooo slow ....1hr plus! So I'd recommend ordering ahead. But I reckon it's because they are so busy !! Despite the slow delivery service...we will still use again.

Ordered off just eat, had to wait nearly 2 hours for delivery but OMG the wait was worth it. Beautiful good sized cod bites in perfect batter, curry sauce had a subtle but just enough curry taste, chips are no longer just chips, these were the best chips I've had in Norwich for years.
10/10, excellent, will be ordering again, looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

What a great addition to the Norwich food scene. I can get a veggie fry up at 7:30pm! Very nice chips, free ketchup, vinegar etc. Great selection of food and in the center of town.. Instantly had a nice chat with the staff as well..

I ordered from Ubereats as there was a good promotion on...Have ordered fish and chips due to the situation at the moment before from other places and have been very disappointed...Food was a little delayed due to a problem in their kitchen...They apologised and offered a further discount off next order..Which was not necessary. But have to say it was well worth the wait. Fish and chips very good and large pots of sauces....Curry and mushy peas fab...I will be ordering again without hesitation...Thank you.

This place really does deserve as many five stars as it can get, the food is amazing! Had a bit of a delivery hiccup to start with, all food came cold first time after over an hour waiting ended up being a similar address was instructed to the driver, rang up very helpful woman got another sent out and first one collected, no fuss and when it came piping hot the second time oh my has it cured the extreme belly ache from not having eaten much for a couple days! Genuinely the best scampi, cheesy chips, chicken nuggets AND onion rings I've had from any takeaway in the city well done ladies and gents

Me and my girlfriend (Chantel) went into this fish and chips shop earlier today and we were both blown away by the hospitality of the staff. Not to mention the delicious food! We will definitely return in the near future!

Went into there today for the first time had the battered pizza, amazing food, staff are very nice and friendly they even made my mum a great cup of tea. As Arnie said I'll be back! Highly recommended!
