Definitely one of the best places in Nottingham to have a good steak. However, we felt the service was a bit rushed. I don't know whether this was due to the time when we arrived (8.30pm) or the service has deteriorated over the years. Previously, we had visited this place a few times, and everything was brilliant!
Quite possibly, the best steak and customer service experience in this type of joint I've ever had in Nottingham City.
So good, we went back twice IN a WEEK - it was NOT a fluke. Recommend 1000%
Oh, and a very reasonable visit on the pocket to boot -
2x generous steak dinners, a cheeseboard, a pudding, a medium rosé and a pint of Stella Artois - just slightly over £82!
That absolutely blows Miller & Carter out of the water on pound for pound price.

Fantastic after work meal. We were late for the 2 for 1 cocktails and had to wait a bit for a table but we were looked after well. Lots of great food.
We work only a few minutes away from here and I’ve driven past it so many times, always noticed the LED cow from the road but never actually visited. We visited spontaneously after work one night this week and loved it. The food was incredible, the mocktail drinks were really flavoursome and the atmosphere was really relaxed. Freya stood out as her service was just phenomenal. She made some great recommendations, had a good laugh and just made the experience really memorable. I’d be happy if she served us in every bar and restaurant we went to. She really is an asset. Message for Freya - don’t be afraid to ask for tips off customers, you deserve them. Thanks again to the whole team, we had a great time
Amazing beautiful restaurant, very cozy and comfortable. The staff is very nice and welcoming, I been honestly impressed of them, also I never saw somebody to be so grateful for the tip.
The food was amazing, unfortunately I didn't take a picture with the starters, but salt and peper squid with garlic and fresh chilly was fantastic, I think that was the best that I ever had.
The steak is good, juicy, perfectly cooked.
We been here few times and we will continue to come back.
Visited Sunday 22nd October, food was lovely and great value but there was only one or two servers in the whole restaurant. This lead to them being stressed and running round and our wait time was higher. When we got round to being served it was faultless, need more staff!!
The food was genuinely lovely though some might say its a little pricey. The toilets are unfortunately quite small and I found myself hunched over to try to get to the sink and hand dryer (though i am 6 foot 5 so that could just be a me problem). the smell of the food was amazing in stark contrast to the waiters armpits. but genuinely would come back because the food was excellent.
Loved this place. Food and cocktails were fab, staff were polite and friendly. Atmosphere was just as a restaurant should be. Can't praise it enough. Well done guys 👏
Alan and Chloe gave exceptional service! We were given prior notice to how the food was best served. Their attentiveness to someone's birthday was the best, adding a cute happy birthday banner on the table and a lit candle to his dessert. Edwin sends his gratitudes over. Thank you for going above and beyond, it's the little things that mean a lot. :) (My seabass was also cooked to perfection, so thank you to the chef too!)
