George's Great British Kitchen - Nottingham - Nottingham - Photo album

Just had a fabulous meal at George's. Food was fresh, tasted good and there was plenty of it. The atmosphere was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for friendly staff, special thank you to Les who took time to make sure we had a lovely meal. We will definitely return.
Great service. They’ve got good options for lunch and dinner, as well fairly good deals! We had the fish and chips (large size), which was more than enough. Nice fish, good chips, bread was alright. Was pretty good! Recommend if you fancy fish and chips really.
Really enjoyed our time here. Staff were perfect and the food was a high standard. People do go here for the fish and chips it seems but the whole menu is great. I had a steak with was perfectly cooked and my deconstructed scotch egg to start was very tasty. The quirky decor is a nice touch and you
The decor is lovely & sea themed, the menu choice is great and the food itself is phenomenal. The staff are very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble, and they're very friendly. Lovely atmosphere and a great vibe. Honestly couldn't fault this place and will 100% be recommending and coming agai
Great place for dining, nice beer too
Impromptu shopping trip to Nottingham. Called in here basically because they served Fish and Chips as my partner loves them. Never been here before but couldn’t fault it and when in Nottingham again will certainly call again. Highly recommend
Was pleasantly surprised! The food is so good here. Portions are massive, the chicken burger was delicious and so was the curry battered fish, definitely worth a visit. Friendly staff and quick service! Nice drinks too. Great location.
Absolutely amazing food, comfy atmosphere that's not too cramped and such lovely, attentive waiters! Definitely recommend for a proper good sit down fish and chips meal, we will be returning as soon as we can!
Good vegetarian options and a super friendly staff. Authentic British cuisine with dishes such as fish n chips and chicken tikka masala. Also the interior of the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing.
Great place for fish and chips, really enjoyed it thanks!
Wow. We were on Nottingham for a weekend and we were looking for somewhere to eat. I was a little unsure of this place because it’s just fish and chips. I was so pleased we did go. Great food different takes on fish and chips. Staff (Mat) was great and very friendly. He asked about our weekend and
Omg It was amazing. We had a £30 voucher as a Christmas present and just got round to spending it . The decor is quirky the music is just right and couldn't fault the service. Food was delicious. Didn't have to wait to long to be served. Was a tad on the expensive side had to put quite a bit to it
This place is normally one of the restaurants we visit as a family when we come to Nottingham. The food is always excellent and the service is thoughtful and kind. A wide choice of fish (and one steak) meals prepared in a traditional way or with a twist. Personal favourite is the cod with bahji ba
Tasty food and great atmosphere. Great quality for the price as well. The staff was very polite and welcoming. 10/10 recommend! Edit: Wanted to add a couple more photos from my latest visit.
