It is the first time I visited this restaurant. The decorations truly resemble the atmosphere of the Thai street market. The chefs are cooking different dishes busy. The staff are very nice and friendly too. You can find lots of authentic Thai food on the menu with reasonable price. The taste is very good! I feel so amazing that I can find such a funny and lively Asian restaurant in the UK. That's why it attracts lots of customers who are willing to wait for about 20 minutes to get a table!
Zaap Thai Street Food took me on an exquisite culinary journey back to my cherished gap year in Thailand, and I can't sing its praises enough. The lightning-quick service transported me straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok, where every moment is precious.
The Tempura Prawn Bao Bun was a heavenly revelation, a crispy yet fluffy vessel for the succulent prawns that instantly transported me to the vibrant street food stalls I fondly remember. And the Duck Main? Oh, it was a flavor explosion, reminiscent of the mouthwatering dishes I devoured in Chiang Mai.
What's truly remarkable is that these delectable delights won't break the bank. The prices are incredibly reasonable, offering a taste of Thailand without the hefty price tag. I sipped on the Siam cocktail, and the zesty, refreshing flavors were a delightful throwback to the Thai beaches and their enchanting sunsets.
The atmosphere at Zaap Thai Street Food is nothing short of enchanting. The vibrant decor, bustling ambiance, and friendly staff created a genuine Thai street food experience. It felt like a warm Thai embrace after a long day of travel.
In short, Zaap Thai Street Food is a treasure trove of culinary delights that whisked me away to my gap year adventures. The service, food, prices, cocktail, and atmosphere all melded together to create a truly unforgettable experience. If you yearn for a taste of Thailand's charm, look no further.

We are seated quickly and glancing through the n number of things on the vast menu that takes a while to decide. We placed an order for Gai Satay, Tod Mun Pla, Khow Kreb Tod, Pad See Aew and Gang Kiew Wan.
The service is super super quick and we loved that as the dishes are served hot and fresh to the table. Khow Kreb Tod is a basket of crispy prawn crackers served with a sweet chilli dip that's crackling on every bite. Gai Satay was grilled chicken skewers served with a peanut dip that's tender for every bite. Tod Mun Pla is Thai Fish Cakes that have soft bites of fish fried and served with a sweet chili dip.
Gang Kiew Wan is the traditional thai green curry with a lot of veggies and chicken served with jasmine rice. Pad See Aew serves rice noodles stir fried with egg, veggies and soy sauces.
For dessert we chose the Pandan pancake which is pandan custard wrapped in a pandan pancake served with vanilla ice cream and topped with honey and biscuit crumbs that plays a tone of flavors for every bite.
The vibe about the place just makes the food and the experience wholesome.
Great decor and amazing staff, we had gyoza and crispy squid for starters they were amazing, but the mains were lacking flavour... Not exciting as other Thai food that we had before... Hopefully, next time I will be able to give 5 stars..
Such a nice authentic Thai restaurant.
We enjoyed some chicken fried noodles
Some pork belly and rice 🍚
It’s kids friendly ;) with special menu.
I would recommend anyone to come and try, there are huge collections of food to choose from.
Love Zaap Restaurants. The atmosphere is as important as the food and both are excellent. Always looked after by the attentive staff. The menu is vast! The portions are a good size. I wish there was an option to get smaller portions to try different things or I guess you could take more friends and share more plates. Had a Bangkok Platter - great overview of a few street bites. Prawn Pad Thai - simply delicious and a Pandan Pancake which was exceptionally sweet and a great way to try a completely different flavour from British cooking. If you want to try several dishes it might feel a little expensive but then again it is an experience and you're sat in a tuk tuk next to a train line with a singha beer.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is just amazing, so colourful makes you feel the energy of the place, different with great vibes, the service was really good and the food was super nice, I would recommend it, despite they do serve pork and alcohol, but the chicken and duck meat there are halal, would recommend this restaurant for a different dinner with nice vibes, as well the non alcoholic cocktails were lovely 😍 👌
Honestly a great thai restaurant to eat in, the design and atmosphere makes you feel like you in Thailand.
Food was lovely and has good range of plant base food.
Service was quick however i didnt get my drink throughout my meal but manage to get it refunded.
9/10
We had lunch here. Order pork and red curry thai. Be careful when you order. Make sure you can tolerate the spicy of this curry. But you can order mild or moderate chili for your curry. Too late but honestly we did enjoy our lunch here. 👍
