Popped in for a cup of hot chocolate only. But when entered inside, I was suddenly feeling like in cake land surrounded by many kinds of handmade pastries. I ordered a piece of delicious cake and coffee forgetting about hot chocolate. Very friendly atmosphere, and some people had American style pancakes that looked amazing. Next time will try their pancakes.

We really enjoyed our brunch here! Delicious hot drinks & pancakes. Definitely worth a visit! Atmosphere was lovely and well decorated. Will definitely be coming back!
Please bear in mind, when busy, you may have to wait outside for a table to become available. This was no issue to us but if you’re impatient like the woman in front of us, maybe go at a quieter time. She made a rude comment as we entered that we were seated before her. This is because she was waiting for a table for 4 to become available when we only needed a table for 2. Educate yourselves.

Really attentive and friendly staff. The afternoon was delicious, especially the sundried tomato and asparagus quiche and strawberry shortcake macaron. Great variety and value for money. Will definitely go back again.

I come to pudding pantry all the time as there really isn’t anywhere quite like it. The food is amazing the staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is friendly and enjoyable.
I really recommend the pancakes and any of the cakes they are amazing.

I had the pulled pork hash. Almost perfect. The pork was seasoned sufficiently but the vegetables were not seasoned enough. If I were to add seasoning then the meat would be under seasoned.
Still recommended.
Service was fine

I love this little spot. Friendly staff and such good food. Cake was 10/10 - perfectly buttery and just sweet enough, with a tart raspberry jam.

Went for my birthday brunch and the pancakes did not disappoint! although the large option was not needed on the loaded pancakes as they’re very filling. Good value for money and very tasty. 👍🏼👍🏼

An absolutely delicious treat in the morning 🤩 I'm not a pancake person, but I guaranty I will be back here again 😍 As it was delicious! Worth to visit. The way Pantry is designed is very cure and cozy. I loved it as soon I put my feet over the threshold.
Staff was polite and professional.

Had brunch here with a friend. It was very busy but we got a seat although we hadn’t pre booked. The vegan breakfast was very good. I also had the chocolate and Biscoff cake which was delicious. Very good menu with lots of food choices for all dietary requirements. My only issue was watching a member of staff set the table for a baby shower and placing their hand inside of all of the cups, which in my view is unhygienic. So maybe some staff training on how to set the tables without putting your hands inside of the cups and glasses. I throughly enjoyed my food and kept me for my long journey back home.

The Pudding Pantry is a little gem slightly hidden from the main Trinity Square area by being down a connecting leg towards TK Max. However, search for it because the food is fantastic. The setting is wonderful with the feel of an old fashioned eatery with outdoor as well as indoor seating, and attentive but not over bearing staff but the real star is the food.
I had the Pantry breakfast & what a feast - country sausage, streaky bacon, eggs your way (I had scrambled), on-vine roasted tomatoes, garlic mushrooms, home made beans and 2 fluffy, delicious American style pancakes with warm, runny maple syrup. I added a side of toast which is available in 3 flavours.
What a feast! For the eyes as well as the stomach & I can confirm that it tasted as good as it looked. One small thing that really made my meal - the salt and pepper pots were not pots but little grinders - really easy to use & just fitted with the whole easy atmosphere of the place.
My dining companions each had 4 pancakes with accompaniments and confirmed that these were the best pancakes they'd ever tasted.
We have only scratched the surface of the menu. With artisan coffee and lots of options this is a place we will be coming back to. It's not a huge place so you may have to wait a short time for a table, but the wait is worth it. Service is quick and efficient, but also very friendly. Put it on your list of places to visit in Nottingham and I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Great little spot for breakfast/brunch in Nottingham City Centre if you’ve got a sweet tooth like I have! I’ve been to Sherwood before but this morning was the first time me and my girlfriend visited this location. The food is amazing and you get massive portions but luckily you can box up what you can’t eat to take away. They don’t take bookings and it does get busy so bear in mind it’s worth getting in early.

First-time visitor and couldn't fault this place! I've walked past on so many occasions, seeing people queuing outside, waiting for a table. I'd ask myself "why?" and now I know!!
The servers/staff are friendly and attentative. From ordering, to the food arriving, everything was done quickly, efficiently, and with a warm and friendly demeanour.
When the food arrived, no one could fault it.....aside from saying there was actually too much!!
With drinks, we spent just of £60 for 4 people, but it was well worth it, and kept us full for the majority of the day.

Had afternoon tea with my 3 daughters which was a birthday gift from them. It was absolutely scrumptious! The attention to detail was outstanding with choices of loose leaf tea in China cups, delicate home made pastries and cakes, delicious finger sandwich and savoury quiche and sausage rolls. Honestly, I cannot recommend the pudding pantry afternoon tea enough. It was far better than our recent experience at the Hilton and much more flavoursome! We travelled from Lincoln and will definitely be returning. Thank you to our waiter who just made the visit extra special, we all loved it!

We didn’t know where we wanted to go from brunch then came across to this lovely place. No regrets! Pancakes were so fluffy and tasty. The salmon was an icing on the cake for each meal we have. Had the iced chai and it really complimented the dish I ordered. Thankies to the friendly staff as well. I recommend, indeed!

Excellent delicious food as always. Very accommodating service and lovely to see real flowers on each table. Rhubarb and custard pancakes. YUMMY 😄

I’ve been to Pudding Pantry several times and it’s always great. Fab portion sizes, delicious coffee (iced coffee is just as good), really tasty chai (according to my mum) and a lovely atmosphere for kids. It would be nice if they would offer bookings occasionally as the wait times can be a little long. Service is generally very friendly and fast, and they are accommodating.
I would absolutely recommend Pudding Pantry to anyone who is a fan of breakfast and brunch, as well as delicious fresh pancakes and desserts. I’ve yet to try a brownie but I will next time!

Went here for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. The food looked outstanding and tasted just as good. Well worth a visit. They also have gluten free menus if I’m not mistaken.

Been there before and impressed, so turned up again after a year to see if it still has the same standard and deliciousness. And the verdict is.....YES, it does maintain the same yummyness :) Another visit is imminent but we were told they are having a full refurbishment (01/2020) soon and will reopen in two weeks! We ordered the pudding platter and it came with all these delightful cake, brownie, tart, cheesecake and macaroon along with icecream. The only gripe was the macaroon as for two people platter, there was only one! We also had their delicious freshly made Lemonade and it was absolutely refreshingly tasty. The staff are very friendly and the place has a lovely vibe to it. Hopefully the refurb is even better and has a great interiors! The place to be for puddings in Nottingham.
