If it's Mexican, it has to be Las Iguanas. The place has a charm to itself. With Mexican music in the background and a drink, it can be a perfect evening with your friends. I ordered a burrito and it was delicious and my friends shared the same feelings for whatever they ordered. I had a great time. Highly recommended.
Been to Las Iguanas a couple of times and never have they ceased to deliver good food. During lunch breaks we would always find ourselves craving their succulent chicken and my go to would be the honey blazing bird comprising half a chicken curly fries and their amazing cole slaw. This being the first place I was introduced to churros they are pretty much hard to beat! Not a fan of the dark chocolate sauce but the other one more creamy and caramel like was my favorite loved it!!! The mexican theme and food is well balanced and the pricing was reasonable even for me as a student although if they could work a bit on their discounts that would be great 😋.
Lively, wonderful ambience, delicious food, and friendly staff. I have only positive things to say about it. Bal took great care of us. Would highly recommend!

We had a family lunch, the south American menu offers plenty of options and there's a good selection for children too. The coffee was decent, service was good and it was a pleasant place, though the toilets need some attention.
Update May 2023: my cappuccino was not so good (too weak and milky) I had the Pescado Blanco Bobo which was salty but complex and flavoursome, the kids fish fingers were really good too and the chicken burger went down well. 👍
Had Pisco Sour, Cheese and Mango Empanadas and Moqueca de Palmitos (was recommended by the waiter). Absolutely loved it. Definitely going back soon
The food was really nice, I just wish there was more of it. The drinks were lovely. I tried the mocktails and they were really good and my friends enjoyed their cocktails. The only thing that was a shame was the atmosphere, it was quite loud and service was a little slow, but we attended at a busy time of day on a Saturday for bottomless brunch. Overall a very enjoyable experience and good pricing.
Came in for food in the evening and were hosted by Bal who was absolutely amazing. He was very positive and attentive, a natural server. We had the Chicken Enchilada and the Chicken Fajitas and both were cooked to perfection and served hot and quickly. Drinks were served cold, quick and beautifully. All around great venue and worth the visit. Congrats to the Team!
The food was great. After posting the 2* review below I had a call from the manager to say that they can see from the paperwork that it did happen, but it should not have as it's not their actual policy. They will investigate and refund the service charge.

The food was great. When I queried why the card machine was showing a higher value than the bill, I was told there is a 12% service charge policy. Fine, if that's what you do, but maybe mention it on the menu or at least show it on the bill so it doesn't come as a surprise?

The young lad who had only just recently started there was fantastic sorry we didn’t get his name wear glasses quite slim 20-21 years old I think new worker. & there was a young girl with long brown hair was her attitude was always very friendly. making sure our drinks were always topped up
