Tarn Thai

One of the best Thai restaurants in Nottingham. The evening is more of a fine dining affair but their lunchtime offer has been incredible value for nearly 20 years. 2 courses and coffee or tea for £12 is a bargain. The decor is a becoming a little dated but the attentive and excellent service make up for that. The track and trace is available via Serco track and trace app or details can be given verbally (when like me, I can't can't a signal). Great choice of vegetarian options even in the lunch deal. The food has always been to the same standard which is a great bonus for such a long-standing restaurant.

A very fancy place! The interior is beautiful and it has this very chilled out and almost zen like vibe. The food is also very good quality and presented on the plate as if you were in a Michelin star restaurant. However, as a result, the prices are a bit expensive for the quantity of food that you are getting. I would definitely still recommend that you try it, none the less.

Always brilliant service, atmosphere, food and quality overall. Love this restaurant a lot, the staff are always helpful, friendly and respectful. Very polite service. I absolutely adore the food here, the quality, presentation and flavours are amazing. Portion sizes are brilliant too, definitely get value for money especially with the quality and such. And then there's the excellent offers too which naturally help as well. Have been coming here for years and absolutely love this place. Strongly recommend it and some of the most beautiful decor I've ever seen anywhere, it's really one of a kind here. Will gladly keep visiting many more times, thanks very much.

Food is great, price is a little bit on the expensive side! The place looks really nice and pleasant. Food was served quickly . The only negative thing is that the staff need more training, the waitress taking our order was constantly looking around, she was more interested in what was going on in other places than taking our order! It was exactly the same when another girl was taking our desert order. The place and the staff don't match up!

I really enjoy coming to Tarn Thai, it is comfortable and has a great ambience. The service is always very good and the food arrives quickly. The only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5 is the set menu we just had, it was good but didn't (in my opinion of course) show the best that the restaurant has to offer, a soup would have been a good addition as would a salad, both of which are exceptional if you pick them from the normal menu.
