Hubby and I so enjoyed the tasty food, the cool breeze through the sliding doors onto the lovely garden and the cosy atmosphere. He had roast cod and I loved the roast salmon, served with posh mash wrapped in a short tube of ?seaweed (edible and so tasty) crowned with tender green beans. To top off
Visited recently and experienced great service and very good food. An excellent choice for Sunday Lunch. Dog friendly and they looked after us wonderfully well.
What a little gem of a pub in the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside. First time here as it’s been on my radar for a while. We were just going to pop in for a pint but the menu was just what we were after - steak night on a Thursday ! Amazing service and great food and beer. Love it!

Just returned from one of the best lunches I’ve ever had. Great venue and fantastic value for money, food was well presented and tasted amazing.

Great food and good selection of beer, staff were attentive and also had 25% off food in October. Food was more gastro pub quality than the average Greene King …
Had a fun play area and drinks and food were amazing! I had a burger off of the kids menu and it was of great size and tasted amazing! Definitely would come again, lovely outdoor seating!
Went here a few weeks ago with a group of friends for a meal and some drinks. The service was excellent, all waiting staff were friendly and helpful - our waiter was Adam and he was brilliant. Food was really good too - looking forward to returning again soon
Stopped at Plough for sandwich and pint lunch and wasn't disappointed. Had intended using garden (accompanied by 2 dogs) but bit cool. Dogs allowed in 'Drinking' side of bar. Sandwiches great, good bread, plenty filling. Hope to get back on a sunny day and sit in garden.
Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere
Except the yorkies my gosh why are they so burnt? They're supposed to be golden
Apart from that I would 100% recommend based on atmosphere, food including presentation
Lovely country pub. Barbecue on the back garden dependent on the weather throughout the summer. Good selection of beers and wines. Menu looks good but didn't eat anything but the walkers crisps were satisfactory. Only problem is that parking is limited so it's first dabs on the roadside.
Visited for a new years meal and can honestly say the food is fantastic, the pub is lovely and the service is great, thank you.

Great pub with wonderful food, drinks and beer garden. I highly recommend lunch, dinner and drinks there. A little play park for the kids in the garden too.
Absolutely delicious meal. The shin of beef with gnocchi was divine, the depth of flavour in the gravy was superb and the custard tart was extra special-unique and so tasty! Friendly hospitable service and lovely relaxed gastro pub setting. Honestly as good as food I've had in Michelin starred rest
We were there for our annual football presentation evening, very friendly and efficient staff, was a lovely evening and their fries were the best I've ever had 💜👏👏👏 xxx
We dropped into this place without a reservation while visiting for the weekend. We also had two toddlers. Impeccable service, excellent food. Haven't had a steak that good for a long time
