Overall 5/5: An authentic Chinese restaurant with 35 years of experience. 5/5 for service. Really friendly owner and staff. Don’t worry if you don’t understand Chinese food and what they gonna be like. They are always patient to explain to you. 5/5 for value. Averagely 25-30 per person will make you really full. The portion of the dishes are really good. 5/5 for taste. Really authentic Chinese food without adding too much sweetness. All in good savoury, Unami and freshness taste. They got true “Wok Chi”. 5/5 for environment. You got parking there and dining in a mansion like building. Clean and we don’t see greasy floor here, which is uncommon for Chinese restaurants because of their ways of cooking.

We stumbled upon this place after having a spa day in Nottingham! From start to finish, the customer service was amazing! It’s a proper authentic Chinese restaurant with the most amazing food and dishes. The crispy duck, chilli crispy beef and chicken fried rice was my fave. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Food was excellent. Every course came out extremely quick. Would recommend the set menus. Lots of food for the price per head. Staff did seem a little miserable except the bar lady. Place could do with a refurb as looking a bit dated but again the food was excellent so that made up for it.

Two of us came here for a birthday celebration. 1st time here for me. Really enjoyed the set lunch (with a couple of extras, I recommend the Chinese vegetables with garlic). Good amount of quality food on set menu & is great value. Exras are a bit pricey.....Lovely food, great service! The only reason I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere is because the place was quite empty- not their fault though. Good value, fabulous lunch ! Many thanks.

Excellent as always, been coming here for many years and the service and food quality is always high. The décor is great. My personal favourites include the vegetarian lettuce wrap and the sizzling monk fish. The aubergines in the vegetarian mixed hors d'oeuvres are always spot on. The menu is very allergy friendly with a separate page for nut free dishes.

My family and I have been coming here for years and the food and service have never wavered. We have 2 vegetarians, and one nut allergy in family and they are always so accommodating with loads of options. The vegetarian set menu is divine. All of the dishes are cooked to perfection and it's always such a personal service. They have a grand piano and pianist on Friday and Saturday evenings which creates a magical atmosphere.

Originally wasn't going to have a Chinese meal, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try, and in all honesty I'm glad I did, the food came piping hot and you could tell it was cooled fresh, the satay chicken sticks were absolutely gorgeous, they were fresh and juicy, normally when you order Chinese it's cooked twice, then for the second course I had lemon chicken with egg fried rice, I personally have never had lemon chicken but I really enjoyed it, it's chicken breast with batter and a light sugar coating, the sauce was like almost a thinned lemon curd sauce, it complemented it very well. The staff were very friendly and very polite, the restaurant was very well laid out and very well presented, the only thing I didn't like was the tables had a clear plastic sheet on them with a paper napkin on top, it's almost as if they think we're animals and make loads of mess. Other than that I would recommend this place for a nice celebratory meal.

I went to Mr. MANS to celebrate my birthday. The serene atmosphere of the surroundings, with the tranquil sound of the small waterfall and birds singing in the front garden, brought a sense of peace. The presence of two stone Chinese lion statues added to the welcoming ambiance. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner. The menu was simple and easily readable, with prices listed next to the dishes. Our ordered dishes were promptly served. For appetizers, we enjoyed mussels and wonton soup. The mussels were exceptionally large and fresh, while the wonton soup was flavorful, containing about 4-5 wontons. Additionally, we ordered the hot and spicy chicken, Teochew rice, and Szechuan hot fish. The Szechuan hot fish is my favorite, but it's important to note that the dish can be quite spicy due to the chilies. It might be challenging for those with a lower tolerance for spice. Overall, I look forward to returning again.

We went here for an all you can eat Sunday lunch, the restaurant was well presented, clean and tidy, we were shown to the table by a helpful friendly staff member, we had a table situated next to steps up the where the food was laid out, this was also on its own away from other tables which was nice, the waiter came over to take our drinks order we ordered a coke and bottle of wine with two glasses which were all reasonable priced, we then went up to get our food, there was a good variety of choice and all food we tried was a good temperature, very good quality and very tasty, you could get as much as you wanted and wasn’t limited to how many times you go up, the staff were constantly topping up the food, the desserts were laid out nice, we had the fruit salad and cream which was excellent quality, we also had a slice of strawberry cheesecake and chocolate cheesecake again the quality of both was outstanding, the facilitates were excellent, all in all a great experience and would definitely recommend visiting if in the Nottingham / Wollaton area, however I would definitely book to avoid disappointment as they get very busy

Quick service, lots of choice of food. The “sizzling” things came out with hot bubbling oil on. The food was nice, tiny bit pricy but all the ingredients tasted fresh and good quality so you seem to get what you pay for.

Stunning place with brilliant food. And there is a whole separate gluten free menu which is ace and a great wine list! It's expensive but it's a good treat!

First time visit and I will come back. I can't fault the standard of food, table service and the decor and atmosphere of the place. A little expensive but what the heck every now and then

Super location at the periphery of Wollaton Park. Have to book in advance, very popular for good reason. Excellent food, atmosphere and service.
