The last time I had a burger at the Nav, Annie was still in residence providing some great food, albeit with a bit of a wait for it to arrive...
Yesterday was the first time back AND WOW! Dare I say it? It's better than ever.
Apart from having a huge choice of beer the food was excellent, big juicy burgers with a variety of toppings and flavours and more impressive was the time it took to serve. I'd not even finished my first pint!
All in all its now my favourite burger joint in Nottingham. Top marks.

I was exploring Nottingham and saw this place on google reviews as it was near to me visiting the oldest inn / castle area.
Insanely good value food (£6 burger!), cool music, friendly staff, and a good beer selection of cask and draft.
Can’t go wrong, especially in the heatwave at my time of writing this. 5*
A very cosy pub with a great selection of drinks and very kind friendly staff. I have been here a few times now over the years and it seems to get better everytime i visit. The outdoor seating is the perfect place to sit and relax with a drink and watch the boats go by and i eill definitely be back, i would also encourage everyone to try it out at some point.

Great pub for good food, beer and company. The history is interesting and situated on the canal llock makes for interesting conversation. We'll worth a visit.
Nice pub with a good selection of drinks. Landlord seems a nice bloke and service was quick. They had a live band on which was good but very loud.
Popped in on a whim for some late lunch, we hadn't been in since the revamp inside and wow! It looks beautiful with a great atmosphere. The food was excellent, incredible value and really delicious. Can't wait to come back :)
Usually pop in after the forest match but went in for a Sunday roast this week and wasn't disappointed. Food was lovely and drink up to scratch. Always a dark ale being served and kept just right. Landlord very friendly and Forest mad. Staff are always happy. Thanks for a good afternoon.😀.
After living in Nottingham all my life I,m ashamed to say I’ve never been in this bar.
It’s so nice inside and also in its outdoor area.
The beer is great and also hosts a comedy night
I will be returning very soon.
Friday lunchtime drinky, great little place with 2 outdoor areas, I like the one by the canal.

My friend got lost on the way after her satnav went bonkers & the landlady sent the barman Ryan out to find her.

Lovely pub to go with work friends after a long day! They have board games too!
Good quality beer selection. Dark and light ales available. For me shame there wasn't a strong ale. That said handy to have all ales in good keeping and sessionable.
Sadly missed out on trying the food. Sure looks very tempting.
