Utsav Restaurant - Nottingham - Photo album

Authentic southern Indian food. Proper biryani not the weird rice and veg curry that is usually touted as biryani. Actual Dosa , proper paratha. So happy to have found this place 😀😀😀
Being a South Indian who recently moved to Nottingham, I was always on the lookout for a restaurant that retained the authenticity of the cuisine. Utsav is that place! No other restaurant here even comes remotely close. The owner, Mr George, is a really nice, hospitable gentleman who truly cares abo
Second time using Utsav and by far my favourite Indian takeaway in Nottingham. Amazing choice, especially if you're a veggie. Be brave, try something different, tasty as ....! Great portions, very reasonably priced and arrived well within the expected delivery time. Our take away go to from now on :
Fantastic food especially the chicken curry that I had (the one with fenugreek and whole spices in the chef's special). Service was excellent, they were very friendly, polite, welcoming, thoughtful and attentive. The restaurant looked great and was well kept, nice interior and layout as well as atmo
Wonderful and friendly staff. We thought we were first time lucky but Utsav has been consistently good. Excellent service, great food customised to your taste and very authentic South Indian! Apparently the head chef has travelled places, cooked for the hairy bikers, seems to know the right things t
We had our society's welcome Dinner here, and had over 40 attendees. The buffet service was very smooth and fast, and the staff were very polite and helpful . People were very impressed with the food, and the reasonable price. We would recommend this for any occasions and will go again in the futur
Best dhosas in town (cheap, very generous with portions, taste very fresh and delicious!). Definitely would be back again. Great customer service too! Highly recommend this restaurant/takeaway! P.s also lovely to see a female delivery driver 😊
Great food and not expensive. Good choice of main dishes and lots of veggie options. Good portions that aren't swimming in oil. Wine starts from £12.95 for a sauvignon blanc. Staff are helpful but not overly attentive. In a good way. Been here 3 times now. Still love it.
Always a delight. The food is freshly cooked so sometimes to have to wait a little while but it is very much well worth the wait. Delicious and unlike anything else you can get in Nottingham. Great value for money too. Don't be put off if it isn't busy either, it doesn't mean it isn't incredible foo
Southern indian cooking from the Kerala region as well as quite a few standard Indian restaurant staples. Interestingly high on fish dishes and quite a good proportion of vegetarian dishes. Service a bit patchy but acceptable, not expensive and well worth a few visits. The restaurant is not license
Treated with some really good and delicious food. Ordered home delivery and came in reasonable time. Price is so good, definitely value for money. Well done Team Utsav. Highly recommended this place.
A takeaway for four people cost only £30 and was really excellent. Lovely dosas, chicken 65 which I didnt try, but which was pronounced delicious by the rest of the group and a variety of lovely; Keralan starters, all cooked fresh for us.
I have been to south India 9 times and the food at Cochin Fort is as authentic as I have had outside of India. The friendly staff offer a wide selection of traditional dishes that look stunning and taste fresh and healthy, including amazing Dosas, Appam, and Uttapam. I am a vegetarian and many of
Tasty, authentic South Indian food. As a South Indian I can vouch for this! Idlis were soft and nice; vada (of two types) were excellent. Aappam was great too. Sp were the the Vegetable dishes we had ordered. Overall, a good healthy break from Mughlai (North Indian) rich food, for something relative
Excellent place if your looking for genuine south Indian food
The waiter fayzel was absolutely lovely! He was so funny and helpful and made us all feel welcome I think he Deserves a pay rise! What a lovely man (Plus the food was super tasty!)
