Good Wetherspoon’s pub by the canal. Good atmosphere but can be sometimes busy on match night’s. Visited during lunch and dinner times Friendly food and service and meals and drinks are brought to your table quickly. Would recommend.
The quietest of the Wetherspoons in the city centre and the one you'll have the best chance of finding a seat. Plenty of space over two floors. There's also a few benches outside by the canal - not many places in town have any outdoor seating so that's not too bad. The exterior of the building is im
Staff are very welcoming. The place has lots of space and social distancing within the government guidelines is possible. lots of tables outside for drinking and eating minimising airborne. I felt very relax having a drink in this place. I would go there again in the evening around 8 at night.
Great place to go where you can talk without being drowned out by music. A lovely atmosphere and the phone app makes it perfect for me. I just order what I want and before I know it a friendly face is bringing it to my table!! No standing at the bar for 10 minutes being ignored and queue jumped. The
Large open interiors with very accommodating staff. Food was nice and the obvious calorie counts on the menus were very helpful. Only gripe would be that considering how big the interior is, the tables are tiny. Not much room for your legs.
Nice weatherspoons with a great layout. Obviously drinks and food are cheap. Decor is nice with an upstairs and downstairs.
Good pub with plenty of space. Real ales including guest. Slightly noisy when busy as open acoustics. Toilets upstairs, pretty clean. Food usual weathers offering, cooked Well, served promptly, excellent value. Good for meeting place before foray into town.
I really liked this Wetherspoons as it was on a canal and was really light and airy inside. Toilets were amazing. Full menu with the added bonus if pizza here. I stuck with a burger. Staff were friendly and Inwas served almost immediately and food followed rather quickly. A nice place
One of the nicer wetherspoons around. Rarely too busy so you can usually get a table easily and fairly quick service at the bar, although it does get very busy when there is a match on as there are multiple large screens for people to watch. Quite nice for the end of a walk as it is on the canal.
Good place to go, I went early afternoon on a Friday so I can't comment on the evenings. Service at the bar was quick, food is available and apparently there's an app you can use for table service. Food and drinks on the app. Worked well for one of our party using it.
Big Lloyds bar on the canal, standard style for the chain with very good big screens for sports viewing. Quiet most of the time but then frantically busy on football days. Somewhat underrated as a venue due to its position. A nicer place than it sounds, avoid the sports days as it takes over comple
Love this spoons as it has music and is just round corner from train station
