Cock & Hoop - Nottingham - Photo album

Great pub, like a labyrinth inside and the outdoor areas are great. Very European feel to the terrace and enclosed garden space. Food was very nice - Sunday lunch for £15. Only critique would be for thicker gravy but that’s only my preference! We were well looked after by the staff
Sunday roast was good, but we asked for medium rare beef, but it came cooked. Dessert was so good! Overall, everything was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Would come back.
My partner took me here for afternoon tea as it was my birthday 🎂 and it didn't disapoint at all,it's quite fab inside and the food was lovely, staff were great and they also do other meals as well, quite a few different beers and wines on offer so all good so will definitely go back
Truly excellent, stylish real ale pub and restaurant opposite the Justice Museum in Nottingham. This place offers a nice variety of well-kept cask & keg beers and some fine-dining level food at reasonable prices. I had the Magpie Roam and the Bang-the-Elephant "Have You Seen My Umlaut" (a fine beer
Visited Saturday 4th March 2023, late afternoon. First time visiting and I'm quite impressed, it has a very upmarket feel to it; however, it isn't pretentious. We didn't eat but it seems that the food is excellent. Drinks wise it has an excellent selection with a great selection of cask and keg f
This is a really civilised little pub with some nice ales and whiskies, also bar snacks. View out front is lovely also (see photo)
Good food and a really decent pint! It has such an awesome, calm vibe, too! You can tell a lot about a place when you order a Guinness, and the bar tender not only knows how to pour it properly but also completes it with a perfect Shamrock! Ace! A staunch favourite place to visit if looking for a ch
Lovely pub with a decent selection of beers. Excellent atmosphere and very friendly staff members.
One of the bests afternoon tea you can have in Nottingham! Ambient is cosy, customer service is superb, everyone working there is friendly and helpful. And the afternoon tea is incredible! Suitable for vegetarian and vegans (and it’s as good as a regular afternoon tea). Last time, the chef Cristina
Fantastic, warm welcome and service. Had the lunch deal of a sandwich, fries or chips and drink for £10 and was wonderful standard and value. Venue was extremely clean and beautifully decorated.
We just happened upon this bar. Which is quite quirky and has different ales ,lagers and ciders from most of the other pubs. Prices were about average for a Saturday in town. Staff were reasonably friendly and efficient.
Lovely old pub with a great selection of beer and a half decent Sunday Roast. Very cosy atmosphere with lots of little rooms and places to sit.
Traditional pub in the lace market area of Nottingham. Weekly offers and friendly staff. Quieter than other pubs in the area, good choice of drinks.
Great beer, great food and lovely staff. An extension to the hotel next door, this pub has several levels and nooks and crannies. It offers a great choice of nice beers, avoiding the c**p stuff. Plus some great food at sensible prices. Feels like a local.
Great little pub that's part of the Lace Market hotel. Good range of beers both on tap and in a fridge that's in a side corridor. Friendly and knowledgeable staff add to experience. They also do hot food and snacks. They have Leffe blonde on tap which is a definite plus. Would recommend
Lovely atmosphere, felt like a local even though we'd never been before, great selection of rock/alternative music been played too! The food was fantastic and the drinks reasonably priced, especially for a city centre establishment! Friendly staff, it's an absolute gem of a pub. The only comments I
I gave this 5 stars a year ago and revisited yesterday. My rating stays the same as the beers are well kept and an extremely good price considering its location There is also a selection of craft on tap and a fridge full of more choice of cans and bottles. Although I am yet to eat here yet, the food
Nice comfy cozy bar, fantastic lunch (sandwiches are gorgeous) and good drink selection. Well placed for the caves and justice museum. Decor in the room we were in was nice and quirky, loved the pictures!
So impressed with this place. Visited for afternoon tea yesterday afternoon, a Saturday in February 2023. After a really dreadful afternoon tea experience with the same friend at a completely unrelated place in the midlands in December, we really didn't know how this one would go . . . but the who
