Always a nice place to visit, food decent, great value for money, what sets it apart from other “spoons” is the atmosphere, always relaxed, never seen any trouble in here, staff really friendly and do a great job

One of the best Weather spoons outlets in Nottingham that still serves American breakfast. I walked miles from different weather spoons just to get to this outlet and it was worth the long walk and patience.

Wheelchair Accessible: No Food Quality: Good Service: Excellent Atmosphere: Good Hygiene: Okay A lovely pub located right next to Nottingham Trent University's city campus. For anyone that doesn't know, Spoons is a chain pub that serves food and beverages, both alchoholic and non alchoholic. They also have vegitarian options to the non-meat eaters. This branch is mainly visited by students and is quite a busy one, especially during nights

Great food. Place was really quiet at 1:30pm Friday. Friendly staff. All day brunch is a bargain. Parking is an ANPR Pay and display carpark at rear, or street parking around the area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Gooseberry Bush Wetherspoons🥄 is more than just a pub🍺; it's a community hub where locals students and regulars create a welcoming atmosphere. One charming aspect is the group of old men who gather there daily, adding a unique charm to the place. These seasoned patrons bring character and stories to the pub, creating a sense of camaraderie. They've turned The Gooseberry Bush into a place where stories are shared, laughs are exchanged, and friendships are formed. Their presence adds a touch of authenticity that sets this Wetherspoons apart.✅ Observing these gentlemen is like witnessing living history; they've seen the world change and are more than happy to share their experiences. It creates a warm and inclusive environment, making newcomers feel like part of an extended family. So, not only is The Gooseberry Bush known for its fantastic food and diverse beer selection, but it's also a place where the tapestry of daily life is woven with the threads of these wonderful regulars. It's a pub that truly embodies the spirit of community and friendship. 🍻👴🏼👴🏽👴🏾

One of Nottinghams more pleasant Wetherspoons pubs. Nice ambiance and great food. Staff are pleasant and tables constantly cleaned and cleared. I had the Xmas dinner with a free pint. Excellent ale and the dinner perfect. Veggie options and dietary requirements catered for as for all J. D. wetherspoons. WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE.
