The new (ish) chef is fabulous! great food and awesome service can't wait to come for brunch! thank you xx
Visited with my daughter had a flat white was very nice will visit again maybe for food next time, looks excellent, staff polite,10 out of 10
We've just moved into the area and saw this place when we were out wandering and decided to try it out for lunch. It's a delightful delicatessen, the staff were very pleasant and it was packed. We had a couple of sandwiches and a Childs lunch box, with drinks. It all came to £15 which I thought was quite reasonable for the size and quality of the sandwiches.

Excellent food, fabulous staff and so happy we live very close
We used No.8 Deli to make our Wedding ‘Cheese Cake’ in August this year. We were impressed with the service and our Wedding Cheese Cake was excellent!
A big thank you to Megan and who took our initial enquiry, she was very knowledgeable, helpful, spend time with us and gave us some great ideas. Thanks to Alex and Danielle for all their help too, nothing was too much trouble and it was very reasonably priced. The cake went down a storm at the evening buffet, had loads of great compliments and the cheese tasted great. Thanks again to all the team. We would highly recommend No. 8 Deli, Raisa & Andy
Hands down best coffee in WB. Also the sandwiches are better than anywhere else on the avenue.
Great food and friendly staff. Definitely the best deli in West Bridgford.
Superb food, and the best sandwiches in West Bridgford in this very well-stocked and inviting little eaterie, tucked round the corner off the main street on Gordon Road. Cute, irresistible and highly recommended!
A popular choice. Wonderful sandwiches, freshly prepared. And home-made cakes!
Coffee is also superb:- you get a proper cappucino; not too much milk!
This is a little gem of a place! I don't really want to rave about it too much, because they don't have many tables out the back! As an eat in place, you can get anything you want in any kind of bread for a pretty fair price. They have three boards of sandwich suggestions, but if that isn't enough, you can devise your own.
Always take my Mum and Dad there - they have a great time deciding what to have - breakfast baps are incredible and very good value.
Coffee is big and strong. They have a loyalty card which allows a free one after about nine cups - a nice touch, and obviously competing with Nero down the road.
The deli counter has a nice selection of food, some unusual stuff - but I do think you pay for it. The olives in particular seem to be very expensive, and I don't really feel they are any more special than from the right supermarket.
This is a great deli with a small coffee bar and a seating area outside, round the back (no dogs allowed, but you can sit out at the front if it's warm enough). There's a good selection of cheeses, olives and freshly prepared lunch time snacks. There are also some great gift ideas for foody friends.
A really nice small hidden deli which sells a nice selection of good quality products. They sell some really nice sandwiches and coffee. There is a small seating area. The prices of some food is reasonable but other most of the prices I find quite high. I have always been happy with the food I have bought from here which has tasted nice apart from one time when I was given a product that was past its use by date. The staff seem friendly and helpful. There is a car park just across the road where you pay to park.
What a great little find in west bridgeford. I stumbled across this place the other day when it was pouring with rain outside and it was such a nice place to have ended up in. I had a really nice piece of homemade brownie and green tea, and it sat in the window reading the paper, (which they provide). The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was very relaxed and easy going. Although i didn't buy anything else from the delhi they had a lovely selection of cold meats, and cheese and other tasty things which looked reasonably priced. Highly reccommended!
Great little deli cafe and drinks/food always delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the halloumi, mushroom and egg brioche. Keeps us going back repeatedly! Seating is close together inside so be prepared to be near to your neighbouring diner. Nice outdoor seating in summer. Dogs only allowed outside.
Massive thank you to the No 8 team. Amazing service this morning when you changed my order when I’d accidentally ordered 2 bacon baps instead of 2 sausage baps, without question. ❤️ The mistake was all mine (it was early and I was still half asleep!) so it would have been perfectly reasonable for you to tell me to take what I’d ordered. 😎 Those sausage baps are flippin lovely 👏
Nice to sit out the back when the sun is shining. Lovley coffee and sausage bap was great 👍
No. 8 Deli in West Bridgford is another hidden little gem. They serve a selection of barrista coffees at the sort of high street coffee shop prices.
They also have a great selection of pastries, sandwiches and soft drinks.
The cappuccino I had was pretty good. Service was polite and quick.
You can sit inside and outside and this being Britain despite the November weather there are usually people sit outside too!
This place is amazing for the food .always very high standard lovely staff .vegan pastries are lovely and the breakfasts . Took sausage rolls home and they where lovely too
Update - 1 star... Second time recently i have called in the cake has been hard and dry, deissappointing. Fingers crossed next time it is better.
Previous review. Always a lovely place for lunch and a coffee. A wide selection of meat, veggie and vegan options. The staff are great and always welcoming. One of my oreferred stops in west Bridgford. Definetely will be back.
My first visit, and I decided to eat in for breakfast. Immaculately clean, with an extensive selection of filled rolls and torpedoes; but I ordered hot food from the menu. My ultimate breakfast brioche bap was filled with well cooked and presented, tasty ingredients: fried egg, hash brown, lorne sausage and plenty of bacon, with tomato ketchup. Likewise, my mocha was hot, creamy and delicious. The service was personable and efficient too. All in, excellent value for money; so, would I return? Definitely!
I went with my son for the first time apparently it is his favourite place to eat. The food was delicious along with best cappuccino I have had since returning from Italy after living there for 15 years. Finally the friendly cheerful staff gave No 8 a wonderful place to visit.
Pouring with rain and so windy their outdoor brolly had to be dismantled! We were fortunate to cadge one of the small indoor tables. Phoning the very helpful member of staff earlier she said one should be available at midday and thankfully she was right! Delicious mixed mushrooms on sourdough bread followed by a lovely iced latte made my day. Highly recommended.
One of the best places to eat in West Bridgford, friendly staff and Robbie the chef does a different hot special sandwich every Friday.
