Called in for lunch, we were greeted by very friendly staff, menu is limited but I went for the lasagne which was freshly made and piping hot, my other half had classic carbonara which was also freshly made and piping hot. Served with garlic bread and a side dish of nicely dressed salad. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Chatted with the new owners who are originally from Morocco, asked if they would be putting some of their Moroccan dishes on the menu. He did say if you let them know in advance if can be arranged.
After being stranded on the M1 for 7 hours, we were SO grateful to find this pub. Such a lovely welcome- great food too. My roast beef was amazing, and my Wife enjoyed her vegetarian lasagne. Really grateful for decent coffee and to the brilliant staff that looked after us. It was a whistle stop visit as we had another 2 hours drive across country- but we were very grateful to find this pub. Many Thanks!
5 stars plus, went in today with family of 8, the service was Amazing, top customer service, Great family friendly Pub, we didn't book but that wasn't a problem at all, The carvery food was mouthwatering we cleared our plates :) Thank youu for such an Amazing experience 5star+

Lovely homemade Sunday lunch here. Fresh, hot carvery with more than just the usual meats to choose from. Puds looked and tasted good too, wish I had room for more! We walked in and there was room but looked like they took bookings too.

Just had the cod/chips, and it was amazing.
The portion size was good, the chips were chunky, and the batter on the cod was so tasty.

Very nice carvery with extra dishes such as beef cobbler, peppered steak, and vegetable bake included in the carvery price of £6.95. (£9.95 on Sundays.)
Decor was nice, modern and clean and tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as possible.
Will definitely be returning in the future.
