This is a lovely place - it's very relaxed and pleasant and the food is excellent. We two had olives, garlic pizza, lasagne and seafood spaghetti. All was high quality and tasty and very reasonably priced. We plan to take a group of friends soon.

Been coming to Bel Paese for over 10 years, and have invariably left 100% satisfied. Small-ish, intimate restaurant that provides levels of food quality and customer service well beyond its mass-market competitors.

If you want bling and razzamataz this is not for you. If you want authentic Italian cuisine with excellent service then top marks.

Didn't quite know what to expect. The evening was on a Groupon and so much depends on your take on Groupon. For me it's a controlled starting point, not the entire evening. Pleasantly surprised. The outside is fine, if dated, the inside more dated and would sure benefit from a makeover. But, the food was lovely, the owner engaging and the evening was at a price we were fine with so what's not to like in that?
