Went for Sunday Lunch yesterday..excellent food and service..never rated this place in the past..but an amazing turn around this past few months..the waiting staff were polite and couldn't have been more helpful..there was a fair wait for food..but the taste and value well compensated for it!.. a deffo 5!

It was my first time ever in a proper pub, the area around was lovely and beatiful, it was very peacful outside and inside the pub! Great for taking some pictures! The food was really good and the portions were massive. My boyfriend got the grilled mix of meats and I got fish and chips, both of these dishes made us full and we barely finished them. The beer was super tasty and cheap as well. The entire place was also very clean and the girls working behind the bar were so nice! They kept on asking us if everything was okay and if the food was good. We are planning to come back next week!

Great food, kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Disappointed they don’t sell bottled water. I would recommend the beef and ale pie.

Great service and a selection of alcohol. Friendly atmosphere and dogs and horses are welcome. Good play area and good parking. Outdoor seating with heaters. Food is usually good too

Nice pub located in Strelley Village out the way. Large beer garden and car park. Has guest ales on tap that change frequently. Nice friendly atmosphere and service. Great pub to visit for a pint after a walk. Went for food and drink this evening with a friend. Food was excellent value for money and very tasty. Excellent friendly service. Will definitely return. Returned, still excellent food and offers during the week. Great value and friendly service.

Another fantastic meal at the Broad oak. Every time we have been the food has always come out promptly and is always hot and fresh, doesn't look like it's been sat under a heat lamp keeping warm. Good selection of beers including a small selection of low/zero alcohol for drivers. Dogs are more than welcome inside, with bowls, fresh water and dog biscuits available to help your self too. Over all a very friendly traditional pub with excellent food and a friendly welcome.

This traditional English pub sits in a small village. It presents a comfortable, friendly environment with good offerings of both food and drink. The staff are friendly, efficient and provide great service. Can't really ask for more.

Good grub, good selection of beers and spirits, friendly staff in a nice, picturesque off the beaten track pub. One of my favourite pubs for a special occasion. Lots of seating outside for hot summer days and a watering hole for dogs. Plenty of parking and lovely camera shots of the old Oak which I am amazed is still in one piece. I would have given 5 stars but there was at least 7 dogs inside smelly and barking. I'm afraid dogs should not be near to a food environment. Hygiene ????
