Lucky is one of the best Chinese restaurant In Nottingham. I always come back every time I’m in the area. The food is always fresh and a amazing atmosphere. Staff are always super welcoming and super friendly. I would highly recommend.
Love the spicy foods. And the staff can speak Cantonese.
Stumbled in after a few shandies, we both ordered far too much food ( which is delicious by the way), staff were more than happy to box up for us to take home for warmup following day. Highly recommend this place, one of the nicest Chinese restaurants I've eaten at/ from in absolutely ages. Will be out new go-to for certain.
visited again on Tuesday night 21st Dec 2021 , the dishes that we ordered were delicious.
no sitting during tier 3 of covid-19 pandemic, takeaway only we have ordered four dishes at lunch and ate them at nearby park. all four dishes are tasty.
I only can recommend them, lovely family business with original taste and quality of the Chinese cuisine.
I say this to everyone, if you go DINE IN your portion huge and gives you a great atmosphere. They have plenty comfortable tables with privacy and the service quick smooth, if you feel got lost in their menu because of the hundreds of options just ask some recommendations from the waiters/waitress and they will be able to give you the best for your taste.
Verry disappointed I Ordered a king prawn curry, this dark brown wishy washy water thing came out .I asked the waitress if this was curry , she said it was . Never have I seen a dark brown water chinese curry before. I completed but got nowhere. Disgusted Alec

Very friendly service, gave us a new cup of water because we dropped chicken in the original cup of water. And gave us tissue to blow nose. Other than that, food was great.
