"Wait, is THAT the building?" Yes, it is. Crazy, quirky location at the end of an old toll bridge with a giant selection of sandwiches made to order, plus crisps, snacks, water, tea, etc.. We stopped by on consecutive days while our daughter was competing at a local sports ground, and everything we got both days was first-rate (the roast pork is sublime.) Nice staff, too. Lots of cyclists in evidence so clearly a popular rest stop.

Great location with outdoor seating, right by the Trent. Not far from city on the Clifton tram line at Meadows Embankment. Really enjoyed an early bacon roll and coffee just after opening at 9am on Sunday morning

Great little find. Breakfast/lunch sandwich type shop located in the old toll booth on the approach to the bridge over the river. Due to the small footprint of the building there are only three tables outside but, on a sunny day, plenty of grass to sit out on to watch the river go by, whilst eating. Portions good, value for money good, staff/owner very friendly. On street parking just nearby.
