Had a meal for 9 at Simla recently for a celebration. The food and service were exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble, attentive and professional without being intrusive. We could not have found better.
The buffet was amazing plenty of starters presented well, the staff was on top of things, kids loved the food, i think it could be a regular thing

Been a couple of times over the last month. Always go early as don’t like to eat late. Service is excellent , the food and presentation is excellent. Can’t fault it . What a find .
We order our takeaways from here and it's so good! The food is gorgeous and even though we're a fifteen minute drive the delivery is always quick. Brilliant stuff.
Had a really lovely meal here last week. Food prepared fresh, totally delicious and very generous portions. We had a peshwari Nan bread that was to die for. Meal includes popadoms and chutneys and rice. Drinks are a reasonable price. Will definitely go again.

Went here last night for my husbands birthday. What can I say everything was absolutely amazing. Food was so nice and tasty and I’m not a fan off curry’s but wow. I had boti lamb and I was so impressed. We will definalty be going back. And the woman serving was fantastic she went above and beyond. Nothing was to much trouble and she was only one serving she was a credit to the restaurant. We had starters and my daughter didn’t like anything, she brought my daughter a plate of chips so she didn’t feel left out. Such a lovely woman and great banter.
Been coming here for years although I admit since the pandemic started we hadn’t been. After reading some negative reviews, thought I’d try it again to see if they were right. I can honestly say that the meal I had on Friday night was as good as it ever has been. The food was piping hot, full of spice and taste and loads of chunks of meat (chicken Bangalore dish) etc. The complimentary poppadoms and sauces were nice (especially the lime pickle) and everything was served in a very reasonable time. The waiter came to check if we needed any fresh drinks or anything else a number of times during the evening. Can’t fault Simla.

The food is very good, hot and tasty. The only thing they can't get right (and it happens every visit) is to properly cool the white wine. I'm getting fed up of paying £6.50 a glass fir warm wine.
My good lady and I love this little place and are now pretty-well regulars there! The service is always good (quiet on a Tuesday night) and the food is exceptional.
The Thali dishes are *very* plentiful and we always end up taking some home. Prices are very reasonable despite a recent (slight) increase and we have always felt very well fed for the dollar!
The poppadoms and naan are always freshly made and the curries taste wonderful.
I can't comment on takeaways, but based on our eating in experience, they are bound to be brilliant.
To summarise: delicious food - always, well priced, great service! Just go and enjoy.
