Amazing, food, sweets and people. People come from miles around and I know why now :)
Asian Halal food in Nottingham.
Weekend is special here when you Halwa Puri, Nihari, Paya and Alu paratha.
We came with family today and enjoyed the food.
It is heavy food as it should be so come with empty stomach and feel the breakfast of 🇵🇰.
It is like semi self service as table is only for 6 people and it could be busy.
Been going to Mr Madni for Indian curry treats for years now. Honestly the best Indian food in Nottingham.
The curries and samosas are my favorite, such good value and his friendly service is fantastic and refreshing.
The sweets are out of this world, the gulab jamun (sweet syrup balls) are absolutely amazing.
Highly recommended.
Amazing place for home-cooked food ! Yummy parathas and also on Sundays they do halwa chana puri special for breakfast 🤤 it goes well with the masala chai
Good Desi Pakistani breakfast, Paratha, lots of curry options, halwa Puri on Sunday. Very limited seats only two tables.
Nice little Indian Pakistani sweets shop with a good customer service and a small seating facility. Majority of the sweets are from a national chain and the meal foods are cooked by the shop's own cooks. The shop mainly accepts cash which can be withdrawn from an ATM outside the wall of opposite Polish grocery shop. What could be better? More parking, larger shop area and renovated decoration.
Lot's of choice here, Indian/Pakistani sweets and Asian savoury snacks, also brown rice is available here!
The food is great most of the time and the staff are top notch. Can't even scratch the service quality.
The only downside is sometimes the sweets taste and feel as though they have been there for a while and the savoury snacks do taste like they are from the previous day or two. However, this is very rare and not always the case, most of the time the food is fresh but it is worth taking note still and something you should ask staff before purchasing.
Finally the pricing is the best in the area for what is on offer and location is perfect for it not being too far from a tram stop and it makes Madni's Sweets a great addition to the Hyson Green mini market.
Great value, fresh produce. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Large selection of Indian sweets and savoury foods. Seemed poplur with lots of other customers too. Drove an hour to get here and will certainly do so again.
Been there today, served by professional lady. Really happy with service. Very nice sweets. There do fresh cooked curry. Next time will visit. Definitely will go back. Thanks
This is my first visit this place. It was the best place I have gone to for fine dining / breakfast in Nottingham. The restaurant owner / manager is very good down to earth and provided high class service. He is very humble and provide excellent customer service. We have ordered Halwa Puri with Puri and Paratha. Food is cooked at very high standard, Tasty and delicious. There is plenty nice dishes you can choose from menu. Fantastic, eat in was clean and food was amazing, will definitely visit again. Thank you for serving us.
Best Pakistani food. I always had a positive experience. On Sundays, You do have to wait to get a space because they serve the best halwa puri chana nashta in east midlands.
I am very impressed with the owner of Madni sweet because you can see he took every measure to make his shop fully covid compliance, hand sanitiser everywhere and social distancing measures in place.
In our trip we stopped in this place for lunch. It is real Indian food. Very taste. They have only two tables but the attention is really good. The owner was so kindness.
Traditional Pakistani cuisine .very nice food ,decent portion and reasonable price .cherry on top friendly staff . My personal favorite on menu are samosa ,snack items , parathas , chicken or meat Curry and Nihari .ymm 👍
Fantastic tasty Asian food and sweets to takeaway. Reliably good. Abid and his team are always helpful and food is cooked fresh so you may have a short wait.
Freshly cooked Best aloo, mooli, qeema, and plain prathas are awesome to sit in and eat.
A variety of fresh pakistani home made style currys and lot more to eat in or takeaway.
Low prices good food.. i will visit this place again.
Thanks to mr madni for his hospitality.
Uncle Madni has always treated well and has run the business with a community spirit. The food has always been great from the sweets to the curries. Certainly would recommend this shop to any one in the area wanting tasty authentic pakiatani food.
Being in the medical profession, the post night shift omelette and paratha ( pan fried bread) is like mannah from the Gods. Plus the hospitality that is offered by the owner makes one feel at home. All the food, sweets and traditional beverges offered are second to none.
Just wanted to say thank you to Madni sweets for the best veggie and meat samosas and chana chaat and chcicken jalfrezi and jalebis .... keep up the amazing work esp in Ramzan whilst you are fasting and serving the Asian community !!!!!!
