Found easily off of the main roundabout.
There's plenty of parking.
A little treasure of a garden centre thats actually alot bigger than it looks from the outside..
From fish to garden furniture, homeware to cuddly toys, there's plenty here..
There's a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.
It does get very busy though.
Toilets available.
I found the prices to be very reasonable too.
If you're lucky enough you may get to see one of the 8 cats that are lurking about the garden centre.....
Worth a visit !!

There are cats. Immediately gains 5 stars. Unfortunately could not photographically capture the cats, but trust me, there were cats.
Cafe is also nice, cakes were delicious and the coffee was very nice. Lovely atmosphere with some beautiful decor, the plants are lovely around the garden centre.
Would like to come back here and see more cats.

Love Bardills! Has to be my favourite garden centre in Nottingham! Always a great selection of plants, shrubs and gardening equipment. An extensive area with a large selection of fish, of all kinds. Plenty of outdoor furniture also. There is a Café on site cooking homemade food. A must visit for gardening enthusiasts.

We didn't get round all of it but enjoyed coffee and cake in the cafe and bought a few little gifts and some house plants/succulents. These were perhaps a little bit expensive but they look very healthy.

The place has a good collection of everything you might need for your indoor/outdoor plants.
The staff are super helpful and patient with the questions you might have, and you can really see that they know plant care and are passionate about the plants.

First time visitor so didn't know what to expect...fantastic array of stock, lovely helpful and chatty staff, so knowledgeable and happy to provide advice. Beautiful flowers, me and my friend felt we were at a garden show, great selection. There are fantastic house plants and pretty pots as well as gifts, and we came away with some beautiful plants. The other great place was their cafe, the cakes were wow and really gorgeous, the seating area for outside and inside was very clean and pretty, quick and smiley service with very well priced tasty food. They have clean, on site toilets. Definitely coming back for a garden fix, and might even pop in just for the food 😍👏❤

Food is freshly prepared cooked and reasonably priced. Good selection although they no longer have a carvery. There is an excellent choice of cake and tray bakes and the scores are to die for.

Sorry, this is about the cafe, not the plants, which seem pretty good. But oh! How good the food was! Pretty sure last time I came here, the food was less than impressive, but what a turnaround. I had the breakfast. Runny, fresh fried egg, toast, excellent sausages and bacon, fried tomato, beans, large field mushroom and, thank the lord, black pudding! And a good one too, little globs of fat exactly where they should be.
Wife had the salmon and dill quiche, very impressed. Good range of food - panini's, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, eggs Benedict, BLT, salads.
Definitely worth a visit.
Oh, it's got plants too.

Great little garden centre. Visited with a friend and we both beelined for the houseplants. Impressive range in both varieties and prices, with everything seemingly very reasonably priced. After deciding on the plants we wanted to buy, we looked around the aquatic life section - they have a shop pet - a huge puffer fish named “puff daddy”. The guy on the tills was very helpful- gave us some recycled boxes to transport our plants home in and gave us bags to keep them a little bit warmer on the way home. Overall a very nice way to spend 2-3 hours, and very easy to get to from nottingham via tram :)

Fantastic place, loads to see and choose from. The café is amazing and enjoyed a coffee break there. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend it enough

Lovely staff, adorable cats, excellent cafe, cool aquarium shop, and most importantly gorgeous plants! What more could you want?? I find it quite easy to spend an hour or two here just browsing alone! Always a treat to stop by!

Had a lovely lunch in the cafe. Staff were very friendly and the food was incredibly tasty. A very pretty garden centre filled to the brim with cats! Absolutely worth the visit.

I love going here for lunch and always have a salad. However, this time, the potatoes were cold, and there wasn't as much ham as normal. The other disappointment was I had a 2yr old with me and asked for a child's jacket potato but was charged full price and given an adults .

Today, I was scrolling through my photos and seen and remembered the coolest cat chilling on top of the fish tank at your centre. I came here in Nov 2021 after asking the centre if I could take photos of the fish and plants. The staff were happy and friendly, we had intresting discussions about my degree and I learnt new things which I loved. I was there for about 2 hours.
The experience was so positive I still remember it :)

Great service and staff. I really enjoyed visiting the cafe and garden centre. The cafe was lovely and food was great!

It's worth a visit, it has a lovely coffee shop selling hot food and cakes. It's really well stocked with plants, etc, and has a lovely gift shop.
It also has rescue cats that live amongst the plants, shops, and grounds. Makes the visit even more calming as the cats love a little stroke or belly rub.

We stopped off for a bite to eat on our journey rather than a service station and oh my days, the little tea room is absolutely amazing. The staff are lovely and the food was delicious. Clean and tidy and a great atmosphere 😀

Always come as a payday treat and end up leaving with more than I go for! Amazing selection of indoor and outdoor plants as well as probably one of the best fish shops in the area. I always enjoy visiting and seeing which cats are about such as this beauty who loved fusses

I brought 5 goldfish from this place on Saturday I put them into my tank and since they've been in the tankthe new fish have killed two of my fish that was already in there and now the rest of the fish now have white spot I do not recommend this place

First and last visit. Walked round in circles looking for coffee shop to be told it was outside. When being served in coffee shop. No smile. Good morning no nothing. I didn't have a tray (my fault) but tea pot cup etc just thrust at me. Expected to juggle everything nd pay at the same time.
Then to be told I would have to leave all my things unattended while I went outside and round the back for the toilet!
Really unimpressed with the look of the place as well as the service.
Won't be spending my money here again.

Visited the centre 8 days ago specifically to buy tropical fish. Bought 13 fish. Yesterday noticed a slight bit of white spot, cane home today to find 10 dead plus my beautiful angel fish now has white spot, really disappointed to say the least. Always try to buy fish from somewhere professional. I have to say the girl that served us was very knowledgeable. I have now treated the tank and have my fingers crossed that it recovers.

Always nice to visit Bardills. Lots of plant choice, a good aquatic centre and the coffee shop is the icing on the cake . The only coffee shop which sells Birds cakes - yummy

We use the garden centre to supply our business. Always very helpful, happy to order things in if they dont have the stock and quick delivery too. They supply our christmas wreath which looks fantastic every year and we've always had great customer service. The coffee shop offers a nice selection of wholesome food. The scones are perfect for an afternoon tea break!
Kathie Ivans
Garden centre is OK, lots of plants and gifts to look around. Coffee shop best avoided, long queues, terrible tea and I think they over charged us. Staff seemed very harassed.
Sally Brown
We often go to bardills on a Sunday for there carvery, it's always lovely get plenty of meat and veg, often have tea and cake too! Which is always nice. They have a variety of plants too, that can sometimes be a bit pricey.
Cleo Wilgrove Bullous
Well what can I say... very friendly and helpful staff. The main lad who works in the aquatic centre is lovely he’s a credit to this business I give the place 100% satisfaction from two very happy ladies 👍

Quality plants, great variety, good cafe badly let down by ignorant abusive elderly female plant and gift sales person, if she was the owner god help the business, if not god help the owner...
