Always nice to visit Bardills. Lots of plant choice, a good aquatic centre and the coffee shop is the icing on the cake . The only coffee shop which sells Birds cakes - yummy

We use the garden centre to supply our business. Always very helpful, happy to order things in if they dont have the stock and quick delivery too. They supply our christmas wreath which looks fantastic every year and we've always had great customer service. The coffee shop offers a nice selection of wholesome food. The scones are perfect for an afternoon tea break!

Lovely place to visit with the kids. There are loads of fish for the kids to sea. They have a resident cat that likes lots of belly scratches. We went for lunch in the tea room. There is plenty of seating inside and outside of the sun is sunshining. It is pet friendly as well if you'd like to bring the dog along.

Apart from being a great garden centre this site also includes a super cafe. Where better to start the day with a Full English breakfast than Bardills. Friendly staff and good quality food well cooked. There's a tempting array of cakes to drool over while waiting to order and pay. Why not start your day with a Bardills Breakfast? You won't regret it.

Found easily off of the main roundabout. There's plenty of parking. A little treasure of a garden centre thats actually alot bigger than it looks from the outside.. From fish to garden furniture, homeware to cuddly toys, there's plenty here.. There's a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. It does get very busy though. Toilets available. I found the prices to be very reasonable too. If you're lucky enough you may get to see one of the 8 cats that are lurking about the garden centre..... Worth a visit !!

There are cats. Immediately gains 5 stars. Unfortunately could not photographically capture the cats, but trust me, there were cats. Cafe is also nice, cakes were delicious and the coffee was very nice. Lovely atmosphere with some beautiful decor, the plants are lovely around the garden centre. Would like to come back here and see more cats.

We use it for the turtle supplies. Best place around to get aquatic plants for turtles with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My daughter also likes the little marshmallows from the shop on the way out. I've bought aquatic tanks, pumps and ornaments for the aquarium from here too which are all very good quality and reasonably priced. Good garden center too with great selection of compost and garden treatments at a good price with little plastic trolleys to take them to your car.

Great selection of indoor plants, freshly good aquarium section, love seeing the cats wandering around. Dogs allowed, but obviously be aware of the cats if your dog doesn't like them.

Love Bardills! Has to be my favourite garden centre in Nottingham! Always a great selection of plants, shrubs and gardening equipment. An extensive area with a large selection of fish, of all kinds. Plenty of outdoor furniture also. There is a Café on site cooking homemade food. A must visit for gardening enthusiasts.

First time visitor so didn't know what to expect...fantastic array of stock, lovely helpful and chatty staff, so knowledgeable and happy to provide advice. Beautiful flowers, me and my friend felt we were at a garden show, great selection. There are fantastic house plants and pretty pots as well as gifts, and we came away with some beautiful plants. The other great place was their cafe, the cakes were wow and really gorgeous, the seating area for outside and inside was very clean and pretty, quick and smiley service with very well priced tasty food. They have clean, on site toilets. Definitely coming back for a garden fix, and might even pop in just for the food 😍👏❤

Smell the candles, pet the many cats, buy a plant or 4, and eat a huge chunk of cake! What more could you want? Look out for the tiny river frogs in the tropical fish tanks. (Worth the excitement of dodging potholes in the car park for an excellent garden centre).

We didn't get round all of it but enjoyed coffee and cake in the cafe and bought a few little gifts and some house plants/succulents. These were perhaps a little bit expensive but they look very healthy.

Very nice garden centre, plenty of selection, nice gift & homeware section and lovely cafe. The resident cats are always a treat. The only let down is unfortunately the older lady on the till. Twice she put the incorrect amount into the card reader, once trying to charge my dad £400 when it should have been £40, and trying to charge me £255 when it should have been £25. I believe it's accidental but her attitude is very poor. Instead of apologizing for the mistake she gets snippy with customers. I do recommend visiting Bardills but if possible avoid being served by her on tills unless you want to pay 10x more than you should and get told off!

Helpful staff. Been going here for a few years now. Good selection of; garden supplies (furniture, frames, pots, gloves, ornaments), fish 🐡🐠🐟 (tropical, Koi, cold water, marine), plants 🌻⚘🌹🌳(house, roses, border, cactus). Got a nice cafe/restaurant 🍰☕🥘good selection of deserts, hot food and drinks. Fish team very knowledgeable and helpful with selecting right fish for you. Would recommend a visit if you need garden/fish supplies.

Great little garden centre. Visited with a friend and we both beelined for the houseplants. Impressive range in both varieties and prices, with everything seemingly very reasonably priced. After deciding on the plants we wanted to buy, we looked around the aquatic life section - they have a shop pet - a huge puffer fish named “puff daddy”. The guy on the tills was very helpful- gave us some recycled boxes to transport our plants home in and gave us bags to keep them a little bit warmer on the way home. Overall a very nice way to spend 2-3 hours, and very easy to get to from nottingham via tram :)
