My wife was on ward C52 for 19 weeks. The staff were exemplary. From the cleaning staff through the doctors. Catering, OT, therepy and at the top the nurses. They worked as a Fantastic team, they cared for my wife and myself. They truly hero's. THANK YOU
It's always good to get a check up here at "Maxillofacial Unit" by the specialist GDP... Dr. Ahmed is always polite and very informative about dental issues, and advice on treatments and managing issues. Back here again to see Dr Mehta, for TMJ appointment, staff are always very friendly, and polite....ššš I am having my left jaw joint injected with corticosteroids today for TMJ. I am hoping it will solve my TMJD problems, which are causing my teeth to fracture....
Upon entry I was told strikes were currently taking place. My heart sank I though my god what a time to need to come here. I neednāt have worried, all staff had it under control like military precision and with a smile on their face. If they were stressed it didnāt show. The staff were so friendly and reassuring I couldnāt of asked for more. I was lucky enough to be in and out within 3 hours despite them being understaffed and overworked. Thank you so so much.
Was at the queens medical centre recently had good facilities with a Costa, Coop a clothes shop and a Pret. Parking is extremely expensive and drop off is very hit and miss. Toilets are mostly clean but occasionally in a bad condition. Overall good with lots of friendly staff on hand if you get lost and all corridors are clean.
Went in today for day surgery.
From getting there at 830am to leaving around dinner the staff was amazing.
Helpful, friendly and kept looking in on me.
Aftern surgery I was even offered a hot drink with some biscuits
Overall a great experience for me.
Our mum was rushed to hospital after having a seizure during a doctors appointment. The ambulance arrived within 10 minutes and the ambulance staff were extremely professional.
Itās only when you require the use of the NHS that you realise how invaluable it is. Itās something that you take for granted. Yes there are delays and itās at times a high stress environment for everyone involved. We were waiting around 2 hours to be checked in and then waiting for most of the day for various tests and procedures, but everyone at the A&E department was unbelievable. Helpful, kind, calm under pressure. Our mum was really well looked after from start to finish, and throughout the years my own experiences in hospital mirror this one. Incredibly caring and hard working staff who are under immense pressure.
Absolute heroās ā¤ļø
I know people have a lot to say about Queens Medical Centre and yes building wise and A&E and at the entrance a strong smell of urine, pile of cigarette stumps thrown on the ground and people smoking and hanging around I am sure for good reason itās awful. BUT one thing is clear the staff, each person tries desperately to make up for it. The Spinal unit in particular. The journey to get there is hugely stressful but the kindness from all staff is exceptional. I was incredibly sick and they went above and beyond. To the Government, the staff deserve so much better. The building is shocking. The STAFF are 5 stars āļø
Had an eye injury, and went to eye casualty queens medical. Awesome experience
1) plenty of car parking options
2) Triaged according to priority, not by nationality like in the Middle East.
3) Seen by ER nurse, treated by ACP and Ophthalmologist. Professional approach, good communication.
4) Pharmacy is a bit slow in delivering medications
Very large hospital. I got lost in the carpark before even entering the building. Lots of parking spaces.
Although getting lost, and the signs within the hospital not being very helpful, there were plenty of staff about. I didn't even have to ask for help, I was offered assistance on numerous occasions.
Everything was clean. We were there for a referral for my daughter. The whole visit was very good. We were well taken care of
Went here when I fractured my ankle and so tore a ligament. It was clean and tidy in the waiting room, and I was seen for the Triage after about 20 minutes and then was having an X ray after about another hour. The whole time there was under 2 1/2 house and I felt happy with the care and attention given. Hopefully I won't need to come back here again, but I felt comfortable with my time here.
