Oh my goodness, this cornmeal porridge is banging! Now and again, I buy food from the Chef. Lovely Jamaica food but this morning, I was advised to try the porridge. Fire! I highly recommend it on top of the other stuff. The taste is homely.
Been twice and was not disappointed. I had lamb chops and cow foot stew with hard food. The staff were friendly and the portions were massive with lots of meat and gravy . Food was tasty, service was opposite of the stereotype, I'm used to the stereotype, but was surprised by the positive and friendly service, nice suprise. Portion was big, belly full, got some good people in the kitchen! Recommend

Really enjoy the good food from Chef’s Hut. If you are an early bird like me. I recommend for breakfast the Ackee & Saltfish with Calaloo and hard food. No better way to start your day! The Chef Mikey always has a smile and the team are really friendly and helpful.

Some of the tastiest Jamaican food I've ever had. Love the wide vegetarian and meat options, so can get what I'm craving at the time

Service needs to be more friendly, proactive and speak up.
I would also recommend to get a website and manage your online presence better. And make some improvements to the furniture and decorations inside.

Came here 12pm Sunday and the selection of food looked amazing. Hot and fresh in trays but I had chicken soup and was lovely. A bit more meat needed maybe and dumpling was 10/10
Had curried mutton with rice and peas along with a fried dumpling and a nice scoop of coleslaw. Mutton was melt in the mouth. Real beautiful, authentic Caribbean food. Will be going again next time I'm in the city.
