Best fish and chips in town by a mile, no exaggeration. It kills me they don't deliver though, it's a two mile walk but it says something for the food quality that I'm prepared to walk past three closer chippies to come here.
Exceptional chips and fish is always fresh. Their mixed chicken dishes are really good too. Generous portion size and fairly priced. Can't recommend trying this enough

Had Batter bits on top absolutely great peas weren't sugary sweet like some tinned varieties are really enjoyed them.
Also picked up a couple of Cod Bites
They were Delicious (wife's words I didn't get one😂)
Totally disagree with the bad reviews on here. We have always found the owner lady very friendly and polite I’m sure it was a genuine mistake for the over charge comment below. They do lovely fish and chips, and also have other items as expected from a fish and chip shop. You can eat in or takeaway, and they also offer delivery. The shop is very clean and prices are reasonable. The food is good quality and cooked well. A very enjoyable meal.

Fantastic Chippy. We use it at work about once a month on a Friday. They always have a smile for you and the food is great. Not sure what the negative feed back is all about. I thought chippy queuing systems where universal 😜
Great tasting fish and chips. Venue is always busy, judging by the queues of people whenever you go. Confusing queuing system sometimes. Is CASH ONLY. It needs to get with the times and accept other payment forms like card. Cash machine 5 minute walk away, but too much hassle when other venues take
