Actually just had a chowmein, beef and no idea what the lady before is crying about.
We also had chicken balls, fried rice and curry sauce.
Saved at least £10 compared the normal takeaway we use.
Will be back again next week.
My local Chinese Takeaway and an excellent one. Much better standards on the dishes and sauces compared to most. The Beef Satay is particularly worth a look!

Having recently moved to the area, we've been dying to find some good local spots. One genre of cuisine that's evaded us has been a Chinese take-away and Golden Dragon didn't disappoint.
Only ordered small today given it was a weekday - Kung po chicken, fried rice and "soft Noodles". This simple order was enough to know that I'd found a good one...
In my opinion, the sign of good Chinese food (anglicised or not) is the "wok hei" (Breath of the Wok) and the soft Noodles had this in adundance. The kung po chicken was also lovely, doused in enough spicy yet not overbearingly sweet sauce to keep integrity of the batter's crunch.
Wonderful, personable service at a price point that you'll struggle to beat. Cannot wait to try more of the food!

This place serves THE BEST Chinese takeaway food in Nottingham!! When we moved to Wollaton we tried lots of local takeaways, but after we found the Golden Dragon we never went anywhere else for Chinese. The food is consistently hot, fresh and delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The delivery guy is always smiley and friendly, and not only carries change, he'll have the correct change in his hand ready. When we have friends and family over, they INSIST that we order from here (eh,Jo?). Oh yes, and it normally turns up in less than 20 minutes - even on Friday or Saturday !! Yes we live less quite close, but other takeaways near GD take at least an hour to deliver....Give this place a try (closed Tuesdays), you won't be disappointed.

The best chinese food in Nottingham. Owned by the same family that owned it when i was a child, over 20 years ago or even longer! Try it, you wont be disappointed.
